    I’ve had a 2019 AMG GLE 43 version for four years and have had perfect reliability. No service costs other than oil changes and tires. One of the most reliable luxury cars I’ve had in the last twenty years. Compares to prior Lexus LS’s I’ve owned. Only a lot more fun! And a lot better looking!

    I just got a 2024 GLE450 nicely optioned, including the AMG packages, augmented reality, and most of the goodies shown in this video, also for 82K. If one is smart with the options (with no actual compromises), go with the 450. Can't beat the inline 6, smooth as butter and with 369 ponies, 375 ft.lb of torque. That's the sweet spot.

      That's a lot of money but if you can afford then enjoy. What else did you cross shop? I was in this same category shopping but went cheaper and bought the new Nautilus.

      @@yoshiakik.5332 I didn't actually cross shop. This Mercedes M256 engine and integrated generator got me sold. Good luck with the new car.

    Excellent review! Thanks! I have a couple of questions. I currently own a GLE 350 4matic 2022 and it has the MB Tex Vinyl in it which is very nice. It is the first time I have owned a Mercedes and non leather. So do you think the leather package is worth it and is nicer material than the vinyl? Second do you think the upgrade from a 2022 GLE 4 Matic to a 2024 is a good upgrade given what you stated in this video. The 2024 looks great and with the leather package and the feel of the vehicle given what I am hearing you say. I do like the GLE 4 Matic 350 it does provide sufficient power on the highway as I have long commutes on the freeway. I want to thank you in advance for any response to my questions.

      Why would you upgrade for basically the same car but a mid cycle refresh and only after two years? Wait until something completely new comes out.

    I would never be shifting with the paddles. The car will be more accurate when it shifts than you or me. I'm getting the AMG in jan 2025 I believe. It's between this and the F Pace. Great review 😊

    Yet with all the fancy cameras, they couldn't make a turn signal blind spot camera view on that speedo screen like the Hyundai Santa Fe Caligraphy? A simple utilization of equipment that's already there.

    Looks as though the dealership applied a screen protector to the instrument panel and from the video a LOT of "bubbles" are very noticeable. Either they were unable to remove the bubbles or they're expecting someone forking over $80K to live with it? Do I have this incorrect? 8:35

    • @BostonAutoBlog
      @BostonAutoBlog  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      That’s the plastic screen protector when a vehicle is in transit. It’s removed before the owner takes delivery

    • @kevinclark2864
      @kevinclark2864 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@BostonAutoBlog Got it, thanks. I'm used to putting on my own screen protector due to the massive fingerprints, etc., so I made an incorrect assumption. Thank you for clearing that up.

    We just bought the same model in white along with a 3rd row option. I've never seen so many options in a vehicle. Yes, you can get a 450, but I would rather pay for extra inside the vehicle and use those options than more power I will never use. The 350 in sport mode is plenty power unless you tow where you would need more power and it's better on gas. Excellent on gas mileage also.

    • @АлександърСтефанов-з6р
      @АлександърСтефанов-з6р ปีที่แล้ว

      Absolutely...l also order in August a 300d without AMG but with full extras level ... the inside comfort and convenience are more important than a needless power and optic exterior.

    i just purchased a 2024 350 and the rear camera is so annoying !! constantly opening and closing at every stop and go and , put in reverse and drive. called mercedes , took to dealer they said its normal! NORMAL...this is rediculous for a 75k auto. has anyone else noticed this? checked forums and people are complaining about this all over the place, yet mercedes refuses to do anything about this! if i would of herd this before i purchased, never would of purchased. would of stayed with BMW like i traded in. what a joke!!!

    Whats so funny about these reviews is the lack of reality. An suv is a grocery getter driven at maybe 75 mph sometimes and putters back and forth on clogged city roads. Spending 90 k for that is ridiculous
