I have another doubt that ground is connected to which side of nano ( analog or Digital) to which side of transistor (base or emitor). Don't mind for asking again 🙏
Ground can be connected to any gnd pin of arduino and emitter pin of transistor

You can connect 12 V to the power jack of Arduino.
The arduino nano works on 5 volt while we are supplying 12 volts. Will that not burn it down? Kindly help 🙏🏼
actually, in most of arduino there is a Vin pin which is connected to an inout voltage regulator. that will convert 12 v to 5v.
