My friend had that exact white gigabyte 1080ti model when it was new. The gaming experience on his pc was just surreal. I had just upgraded to 1060 6gb back then and it was good card too but 1080ti was just insane. And even though its 7 years old it still works very well in modern games. Remember, when 1080ti launched, the gtx 580 was 7 years old back then, and it would have been quite bad experience to use it in modern games at that point. The whole pascal line up is great tbh. My little brother is using gtx 1070 and it runs everything he plays very well. He doesnt play cod or the most demanding games but he gets 60fps in elden ring.
I used to own that EXACT same 1080 Ti model for 5 years and jumped to a Zotac 4080 Trinity OC for my 4K gaming TV setup, but gosh did this card last, It held up so good I skipped the most generations with it, still impressive for 1080p/1440p @144Hz for most games and even 4K on some, the most shocking thing was the sheer size difference between the cards but managed to make it fit. I even managed to resell it for 30% of the value I bought it so it was the best decision to keep it for as long as possible, in comparison the 4080 feels already lacking in some games while this one was a bit overkill for its gen and even held really good through the 20s Series/early 30s (Partially thanks to FSR), hope we'll see another legendary gen like this one from either competitor at more decent prices.
This card back in 2018, 6 years later and it still runs all my games perfectly fine and even hold its own in new titles. Unfortunately with how bad games are being optimized nowadays I don't see any other card having anywhere near the lifespan of the 1080 TI.
For a 7 year old card to still be up to today’s standards is actually pretty impressive considering the newer architectures and updated graphics on most games. Goes down as one of the greatest in history
Very cool video. ❤ My card is happy to be maken video about. As I have a qhd monitor, the 1440 p results would have been interesting, especially because of the 11 GB VRam
The card that refuses to die. I have it paired with a Ryzen 7 1800x and it's impressive what I can actually achieve both in gaming and professional aplication such as premiere pro and afer effects. I want to test more games with it, but everything that I threw at the system ran like a charm, even games like cyber punk reachin between high 50s uo to 70 ish fps on hi settings in 1080p
Just upgraded my 1080ti one month ago. Man, It is the best card I have used in my entire life. The insane raw processing power and the 11gb of Vram really help for these today's title. Most games uses above 6gb of vram even in 1080p so 1080ti will still last for more than 2/3 years.
I remember I got a normal 1080 from EVGA back when it came out. It ended up dying. When I sent the rma they sent a 1080 Ti back. I was so excited. Legendary card that I rocked until last year. 🎉🎉
It will be an old-fashioned card in terms of technology, but what it achieved in its time and what it continues to achieve gives it the title of "legendary."

And guess what!!! i play mostly LoL, few offline games (hogwards, cyberpunk etc) and Valorant, the fps are just ridiculous for my 280hz screen. Insane stuff at any 1080p screen!! Got 1300 fps in Ascent map custom. Happy fu******** birthday 1080ti !
I’ve been watching zwormz videos for years. It’s cool to see him improve more as I watch more of his videos overtime
THATS WHAT IM TALKING ABOUT THATS WHY HES THE MVP THATS WHY HES THE GOAT, THE GOOOOAT
God level GPU Nvdias greatest creation that they regret
GTX 1080 Ti was My first High end card after I did have GTX 750 ti. Now I do own RTX 4070 but still kept GTX 1080 ti as premium souvenir and will keep it forever, Happy birthday 1080 Ti ! 😍😘💖
Happy birthday!! my first and fav gpu 🥳🥳🥳🥳
GTX 1080 Ti and RX 580 have got to be two of the most bang for the buck gpus out there
Happy birthday 1080 TI you're the absolute beast❤
Funny how it closely shares its birthday with the Switch. Crazy.
This absolute beast of a GPU is what I use to this day. Didn't know its release was the same as my birthday :)
I m on 1060 and I m really proud of my graphics card till now ❤
I am proud of my 980 ti
1080ti was a real emperor of Gpus.
It's amazing how well the 10 and 16 series cards have held up. They seem to do better than some of the earlier cards of equivalent power.
I've upgraded to a 4080 since my 1080ti was having issues but man, what a beast of a GPU it is and can still go at this day and age.
Can't believe it has been 7 years, time flies when you watch Kryzzp's gpu benchmarks
happy birthday 1080 ti! one of the best cards ever made
I'm using this GPU right now, no plans to upgrade still. Such a beast of a card
This card back in 2018, 6 years later and it still runs all my games perfectly fine and even hold its own in new titles. Unfortunately with how bad games are being optimized nowadays I don't see any other card having anywhere near the lifespan of the 1080 TI.
It's still my card since that day and still going strong. EVGA FTW3
For a 7 year old card to still be up to today’s standards is actually pretty impressive considering the newer architectures and updated graphics on most games. Goes down as one of the greatest in history
It's old but still gold. If you have your realistic expectations
Very cool video. ❤ My card is happy to be maken video about.
As I have a qhd monitor, the 1440 p results would have been interesting, especially because of the 11 GB VRam
as someone who pairs a gtx 1060 with an i7-3770 in 2024 I think the gtx 1080ti would be a great card for me to use
The card that refuses to die. I have it paired with a Ryzen 7 1800x and it's impressive what I can actually achieve both in gaming and professional aplication such as premiere pro and afer effects. I want to test more games with it, but everything that I threw at the system ran like a charm, even games like cyber punk reachin between high 50s uo to 70 ish fps on hi settings in 1080p
happy birthday beast 🥳🥳
Just upgraded my 1080ti one month ago. Man, It is the best card I have used in my entire life. The insane raw processing power and the 11gb of Vram really help for these today's title. Most games uses above 6gb of vram even in 1080p so 1080ti will still last for more than 2/3 years.
Future games will probably be built for 12gb of vram. That's kinda becoming the new 8gb and will likely remain that way for years.
1080Ti - The king of 1080p144 gaming of its time. What a fiitting name for such a great and memorable GPU. Salute!
I´m so happy that i choosed my 1080 strix oc 8gb back in 2017 and it´s still fighting today !
I remember I got a normal 1080 from EVGA back when it came out. It ended up dying. When I sent the rma they sent a 1080 Ti back. I was so excited. Legendary card that I rocked until last year. 🎉🎉
Excelente video!! uso minha 1080ti founders edition e até hoje consigo rodar tudo em 1080p no high ou ultra
Obrigado! A Founders é muito bonita, ainda hei de trocar esta por uma FE!
It will be an old-fashioned card in terms of technology, but what it achieved in its time and what it continues to achieve gives it the title of "legendary."
I am using a GTX 1080 with a ryzen 5 3600 and still run most games well at 1440p.
Your videos are actually one of the best videos out there and love what you're doing keep doing this you're great
Nice video i have a gtx 1080 ti and i love it!
