What a very nice review! Makes the game very inviting. Clear and concise, with very helpful graphics to illustrate how the cards and pieces work. Good speaking presentation pace that was easy to hear and follow. Keep up the good work. I hope your channel gets a lot more subscribers 🙂
Excellent overview video, well explained, and demonstrated. Can't believe this video doesn't have more views and likes. We bought this game while on vacation in Portland visiting my Brother and Sister in law and we played the great lakes version and lets just say after watching this we really botched the some of the rules because we didn't really read them over carefully. We all played with the trains and boats in our colored bags (didn't notice the total piece cap), we didn't reset the revealed cards when 3 or more were wild, didn't realize we could replace taken cards from either deck and stuck with three of each type, and when scoring the harbors we subtracted 4 points for every named port on a card not built (which seemed excessive for good reason cause most players would have more than unique named ports on their ticket cards). This is definitely a fun variation of the original TTR. It adds a good twist with some added strategy. We also love that it is basically 2 games in one with a world map side and a great lakes side. Making the price we paid for it more justifiable. This is only the second variation we've played. We played the Africa edition.
The video is very visually appealing. Your Voice is perfect to listen to and video is made in a clear and very precise way. Hope to see more videos soon :) Good luck with your channel. I will definitely subscribe.
You are excellent at giving descriptions and very clear instructions. The animated sequences help illustrate your points. You are appreciated for your work!! Thank you!!🌟🌟🌟
Thanks a lot! The channel is still young. Hopefully more people will feel the same way you do about the video and will spread the word to their friends. More videos to come in the coming days...
When does the game come to an end? It is a bit confusing......the sentence "Two more rounds including the player" ....Does that include the move the player Just played which leaves him /her with six or less plastic pieces? Or two more rounds excluding that move( which played at that moment) Can you please elaborate it?
After the player puts down their ship/trains that leaves them with less than 6 pieces, they call out "under 6" and then everyone has 2 more turns, including that person.
Tour routes.. during gameplay do I have to build the route in the specific order starting with number 1 to number 2 on the ticket and then build from.2 to 3 and so on until its complete or can I just build the route however I like until its complete? We are finding this card route confusing.. further given that tickets are hidden until the end from our opponents how can we ensure a person built the tour route in the order shown? Thanks. ALSO.. if I take a wild card from the blind draw pile and there is a wild card face up on the table, can I then take the face up wild card? Thanks again.
Could you explain - the tour tickets, do they get shuffled with all the other ones, or do you distribute them separately, only at the beginning of the game? (Similarly to blue tickets in TTR Europe).
When some player build harbour, can other player use that harbour complited own route, i mean samekind than building station in Ticket to Ride Europe game? Where other player can use other players station comblited own route?
Would absolutely love to have this video re-uploaded without any background music. You do an excellent job explaining the game but it is very difficult to understand.
I should have said "Pair routes don't provide more points than a normal routes". When you claim a pair route, you get the usual amount of points according to the length of this route.
@@GamesAcrossTheBoard What about a combination of Ticket to Ride and Pandemic, with different cities closing down during the game? I'm surprised nobody has thought of that!
What do you when discard a card. do you make 2 separate discard pile one for the train cards and One for ship card or just one discard pile and put them all in one pile please get back to me ASAP

Thank!
I can imagine that the game plays quite differently with the rules omissions you mentioned ;)
A job super well done. You are very clear and go through everything at a good speed. Thank you very much!
Glad you like the video.

Tour ticket question. To complete the tour, and not subtract points...must we follow the route also?
Thanks! Just bought this game and was wondering how to play. Lol.

Great teach!
Very helpful
If I build a harbor can another use it? Or am I the only one allowed to use my harbor
Sorry I'm a year late lmao, only you can use it.
When some player build harbour, can other player use that harbour complited own route, i mean samekind than building station in Ticket to Ride Europe game? Where other player can use other players station comblited own route?
Yes, at 9:10 you can see that green, blue and yellow are all at Marseilles. Only the person who built it receives the points.
In Rails & Sails, do you end the game when someone reaches 6 train pieces or 6 boat pieces OR in when they reach 6 pieces in TOTAL?
6 total
great job! subscribed!
Mike Miller Thanks!

Why is it that you say “Pair Routes” don’t gain you more pints? I don’t see anywhere in the rules that states this.

How about a Ticket to Ride Solar System?
I'm sure they already thought about this one! :)
@@GamesAcrossTheBoard What about a combination of Ticket to Ride and Pandemic, with different cities closing down during the game? I'm surprised nobody has thought of that!
@@ThePeterDislikeShow This could lead to an interesting gameplay, for sure!
I like how you keep flipping between "he" and "she" randomly
What do you when discard a card. do you make 2 separate discard pile one for the train cards and One for ship card or just one discard pile and put them all in one pile please get back to me ASAP
You need two separate discard pile. When a draw pile is empty, just reshuffle the appropriate discard pile. Sorry for the late answer.
Games Across The Board thank you we were doing one discard pile so now we know we have to have 2 Separated discard pile
Great video man!
