Manayathattu Mana is located in the Mitayikkunnam area near Thalayolaparambu in Kottayam district. A family with tantric rights to about 100 temples in Kerala itself. Manayathattu Mana Chandrasekharan Namboothiri, a Tantric patriarch, is a member of this family.There are two Manayathattu Manas on the east and west sides.
They are located on both sides of the Muvattupuzha river.
Nalukettu means four blocks and a typical house built in this fashion would be divided into a north, south, east, and west block. ... The larger and wealthier families had ettukettu or, the rarer, pathinaarukettu houses featured eight and 16 blocks with two and four courtyards respectively.
Thatchu Shasthra, or the Science of Carpentry and Traditional Vasthu, was the governing science in this architectural form. This branch of knowledge was well developed in the traditional architecture of Kerala and has created its own branch of literature known under the names of Tantrasamuchaya, Vastuvidya, Manushyalaya-Chandrika, and Silparatna.
