Which is annoying because I literally just installed the Assure lock that has that device included with it. I thought maybe it was a distance issue. So I moved it only 5 ft away from the door lock and I still get the stupid message. So im not sure where to go from here.

I have a door with a multi-point locking system, so my door doesn't lock unless I lift up the handle first. I know this, and I think it's okay that I have to lift up the handle for Yale Assure Lock to work. However, I'm wondering what will happen if I forget to lift up the handle? Will the Yale Assure just keep trying to lock when it meets the resistance and cannot lock the door, and just let me know that it is unlocked? Or will I need to disable the automatic lock function?
How does it work with the Goggle Pixel 4a5G, I'm considering switching from a Android phone. But also considering the Iphone 11. What are your thoughts.
Hi. Great video. I lost august connect device (original one from the box which comes with the Yale lock) Could I buy separately a new one the same I had before and use it with my Yale lock? I curious if it is going to work together.
My batteries are fairly new but the screen won’t turn on.. I locked the kitchen door thinking I could use the Yale look clean system but it’s dead! I will NEVER depend on that again!!!!!
Got locked out with this Yale. Think one of my kids hit the privacy button on the way out. The app has always not been good about remote locking and unlocking, didn’t work that day either. Had to break into the house. Next day went and bought a Kwikset, that has a key. App works way better. Yale 👎🏼 for me. Also the Kwikset app has a battery meter for the lock.
You can still use a key with this device. Did the key not work? I’m asking because I was thinking about buying this version since you can still use the key.
@@lifestooshort80 No key option. Its the Yale version from Costco they had about a year ago. Keypad only, no physical key slot, and only an exterior 9V battery connection if your AA batteries die. I wasn't impressed with the August app either, I use an iPhone 11, I don't have problems with it, so I'm assuming the app has issues with remote locking/unlocking. Good luck.

Lol it sucks. It warns you in advance but my dumbass did no pay attention and i never took the keys that come with it which I usually do have on me. I had to come through the window that day. But in all honesty it was because of stupid things I did. I was warned about the battery and i forgot to have the key with me.

It won't even work with your locking system pal...I have the same system you have I know because of your description.

It is possible to buy the module. Look line for something called Yale Wi-Fi and Bluetooth Upgrade Kit.

Why doesn’t my 30 minute timer work? I got door senses on and enabled.
The lock itself also has a timer. So double check that the lock timer is on or off. The August app uses its own timing setup.
I like everything accept being able to unlock it with your phone app . I don't see the point of that feature and leaves a vulnerability to the lock
I suppose in the rare case it does not auto-unlock
August app works better than the Yale assure app
