So my fiance who's a Mexican citizen and we live in Matamoros Mexico, well when we go to eat tacos always complains about how much I tip, and I tell her you Mexicans have your traditions and us Americans have ours lol. I tip when it's well deserved. These folks do work hard. 100 degree + heat and they're cooking delicious food with a smile. Amazing people and great food.
I know!!! Tipping culture here in Mexico is not that great... Sometimes it's like "why should I spend more money if I paid what they charged me... if it's not mandatory then there is no reason why I should spend some extra on the tip... " it is a shame...

Omg! My mouth is watering! I was married for 16 years to a man from Mexico City. We would go every year. I miss the street tacos! There was one place by where he lived. Don’t know the name of the taco place but he lived in Ixtacala. Sooooo gggoooddd!

So crazy how a taco here in the US is like $2.50(Arizona) and taste like shit and this dude ate a torta and 2 tacos for same price. Those tacos were probably REALLY good
most american beef hangs in freezers for 18 months before you get it just like gasoline in tanks at refineries no rush to sell thats the difference.

I love all kinds of food. Eating at a restaurant, fastfood, but there's just something about street food that I really enjoy. There's a certain mystique, individuality, and humility to it that I feel is only found in the street food culture environment.

I've watched all of his tip videos and most of the vendors don't seem overly excited. It's almost like it's normal for them to get 12,000 pesos tip. I would be blown away.
