- This video is a comparison between the JBL Flip speaker and the T&G TG 287 speaker. JBL is more expensive but I wanted to see if an equalizer app can tweak the sounds coming from the T&G and make it sound better and if it will come close to the JBL Flip 5. Check it out and let me know what you think.

Oh wow! T&G still pumping for its price range. That's kind of a steal since it still produces nice quality sound, JBL on the other hand is superb considering its price it should and must sound like that. Nice video 💪🏼❤️

Well done consumer friendly vid. I choose JBL but for those that prefer less bass T&G is a high quality investment for $10 bucks. Perfect X-Mas gifts for workshop, garage, bathroom. You get my drift

thanks for the review, I found out that sound get distorted in the flip 5 while charging and listening, is this normal?

It just sounds louder but bass is not powerful at all.
Jbl had more bass than t&g speaker

That's a way better deal then buying any of the T&G speakers. That speaker will beat any T&G that's out right now.

Are both speaker have same volume? .
Full volume on your cellphone and both speaker full volume?
Only the phone is full volume.

Correction: the phone is at 50% volume for the JBL Flip 5 (JBL's volume syncs with the phone which means its volume is also at 50%), for the T&G 287 the phone volume is at 100% and the speaker at 50% volume. Its different for the T&G because its volume control doesn't sync with the phone.

How to REALLY get JBL sound cheap:
Just stick th little speaker in a 5 gallon bucket. Proplem solved. U will have mega bass and wish that bucket had a turn it down button.
Buy TWO T&G and pair them for stereo.
BUY T&G 288.
I believe Its quite better. It has more watt bigger battery is bigger unit IPX7 DSP chip.
Do all this and u will beat JBL.
