- I met up with a local Rasta man and viral social media sensation Ras Ginga on his property, where he showed me some of the fruits he gathers from the surrounding jungle. Off the grid living in the middle of the Caribbean!

Hey David. Happy Friday. So sugar can make rum and wine. Wow. That wine look dangerous. He’s so right. Some ppl sing the song but don’t live the message. One love. I don’t personally know you and may never meet you David; but from what I see on TH-cam- you live by the msg 1 love. Otherwise you could not travel all over the world and nonjudgmentally meet different ppl and acknowledge their cultures, religions , cultures and foods. 🙌🏼. Wow. Never knew a nutmeg was so intense. Very natural surroundings...The Rasta guy and his wife ...lovely people living the natural lifestyle that a lot of us could only wish for. So much natural...bananas ...papayas ..sugarcanes and the wines.... the herbal health drink. Good to see the cocoa on the tree....knowing where your chocolates comes from. Coconut water/jelly...always tastes so good...Cinnamon...Nutmegs...my first time seeing the tree. Another very good video. Thanks David and Nate ...safe travels...Blessings and Peace,

I don't know why it touch me so much when you hug Ras Jinga,,,cane wine taste really nice and I also like apple wine not the mammy apple but regular gala. David. Good morning, mon. I laughed so much right through this video. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Now, tell me, how high did you want to go: higher than an eagle or higher than an airplane or to outer space? I see you turned red and blushing 🤣🤣🤣. Now I see that you tried the ripe cocoa seeds. That place owned by Rasginga is huge providing him with all the natural food: fruits and vegetables that he needs to sustain life. Saw one fruit that I haven't seen in a long time. The nutmeg looked like a jewel when it was cut open. Now I can see why it's so important to Grenada. Didn't know that that's what the cinnamon tree/bark looked like. Isn't nature something to behold? Simply amazing. As a side note: one of Bob Marley's sons' mother is married to my ex-cousin-in-law, Rupert Bent, who was married to my Trini cousin and now live in Jamaica. They have two children, Jana Lisa and Rupert Bent Jr. Rupert Bent Sr. used to play with Byron Lee and the Dragonaires - popular Jamaican music band. Anyhow, I digress. But this one was really entertaining. Loved, loved it. Now, I am going to hold you to all those islands you mentioned that are in your future plans. Caribbean/West Indian islands where everyone is friendly and welcoming, and everything is so natural and truly organic from land to table. I thought Ras was going to cook something for you and Nathan. Maybe you didn't have time. But all in all, David and Nathan, you are not just two white guys travelling to the Caribbean: you both will always be treated as brothers because that's how we are. David, that's why my comments to you and your team come off like I am talking to family. Love you guys like you all are my sons🤭🤗. BTW, my sons are 47 and 45 years old. So hugs for all of you🫂🫂🫂. How was Grenada not on the map when we had miss world in 1970. We are the father of federation TA marryshow. The first and only king of Haiti was Grenadian. We built Trinidad. We have so mush history of you want to look.

Natural ital food and fresh fruits, good for the body and mind, this Rasta man lives a very healthy lifestyle, if only we had the climate, the fresh food, vegetables and fruits available to us here, we could be so much healthier, maybe there wouldn't be so many people afflicted with dementia, many people in Grenada and other islands in the Caribbean live well into their 90's.

Absolutely its happening. I've been to Jamaica and so I've been focused on going to new countries more recently. I have something already planned for Jamaica and relatively soon! Also thank you so much for this lovely comment, I'm so glad you enjoyed this and we are in total agreement. The islands are truly all brothers and sisters and they share so many culinary similarities but also diversity from callalloo to coconuts...YUM. Will let you all know when my Jamaica stuff pans out!
