    Thanks for taking the time to show your work, I’m a novice in mechanical skill I’d say and your detailed video has helped me a lot. Especially when money is tight these days.

    Ilove your videos eddy. I would honestly try without the music, alot of people like to hear the actual sounds of the job. Try your next video out and see 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

      I agree. Superb video, but the music adds nothing and if anything 'cheapens' it.

    Good video my guy. No need for locking tools though. The new belt has massive white lines on it that you line up with the markings on the pulleys. I can see them on the belt you have here but you didn't use them. Still a decent video though.

      Those lines may not be on the belt thats coming off ( yes they are on the belt in the video, but some people take the belt off and reuse it, it that belt does not have the white lines on ( lots of manufacturers belts do not ) then you do need the locking kit to prevent damage. But you are correct about a belt with the lines on.

    Why on earth did you fit the crank locking tool before taking the old belt off and putting the new one in position?

  • @blisterj
    @blisterj ปีที่แล้ว +2

    Not picking faults here but just a tip also. The crank tool,you use last after the old belt has been removed as you're adding more work than necessary having to take it off again you can then tweak the BDC if necessary as most people use the marks method over time which when 3 belt changes have been made can add to errors. when its bang on the engine will purr

    Great video and thanks for taking the time to make it. Can you tell me where to buy the tool kit to lock up the engine. Thanks in advance?

    Bro how did you adjust tensioner marking point you did not show how to adjust that tensioner.how did you put tension on to timing belt

    • @GAH4444
      @GAH4444 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      You get a bolt in the kit to lever off the tensioner to the left hand side. Also he didn't tension the belt correctly. The tensioner pointer should point at the drilled hole just above the locating slot for correct tension.
