What do we think of the new Google Pixel 6a? 🤔 -------- Pixel 6a: store.google.com/product/pixel_6a?hl=en-US Pixel 6a Bundle Deals from Amazon: amzn.to/3oslHdP
I think it's great. I bought one, 2 weeks ago. My first Pixel. I waited till they brought out a "budget" model with an in screen Fingerprint Reader. I've had a number of phones, over the years, including iPhones. I can honestly say, that for my needs, it's the best phone I've ever had. I'm keeping it well protected with a Curve Dual Layered Case and I even managed (miracle for me) to install a really good Screen Protector. I've heard about all of these "trade in deals," so may, as I've fallen in love with the thing, trade it in next year for the Pixel 8, or 7a! Can't wait to try out the camera!
Camera and battery that's all I really care about these days. I need to able to take my phone out and instantly take a great photo of the kids without having to mess with any settings. The tensor chip giving the 6a the face unblur, the magic eraser, the colour fade thing. Those are going to be so clutch when it comes to getting good photos of fast moving kids with bad backdrops haha. Pixels point and shoot ability is what has always been amazing to me.
Been thinking of cancelling my order due to all the reports of the poor finger print sensor. Why didn't these companies keep the surperior phyical sensor on the back? Form over function. Wouldn't matter as much if Google let us use face unlock.
It doesn't have the battery life of the pixel 5a 5g.And the 5a looks better(with symmetrical bezels)in my opinion.Eitherway nice unboxing video-5 years of security updates is impressive.Cant wait for the full review😍.
Looks like a good deal for somebody that wants a Pixel phone my only problem is I had the Pixel 6 and I sold it because it kind of got warm a lot because of the modem and I’m guessing this is the same modem

Anyhow, once I saw the trade in allowance for the 4a 5g on the pixel 6a,I thought, what have I got to lose,I'll never use the 4a 5g,glad I got the pixel 6a,great phone for the money,if you have a 4a 5g,unload it now and get the pixel 6a.
Have been on a 3A XL for a few years. I eagerly waited for the 6 and was disappointed at the reviews. Waited for the 6A, but then saw the Samsung A73 which is cheaper than the 6A (where I am) and offers more. Switched
I would recommend not to base it all on reviews. If you're able to, walk into a carrier shop and test them out yourself to get a better idea. Just my thoughts.
The fact that Google put a camera on this phone is a surprising news by itself .For those of you who want SD RAM expansion slot Google's answer is " expand your wallet cause we won't expand our phones RAM".

I have an s20 FE 5G. I'm kind of getting tired of One UI. Also bored of IOS. Thinking I'm going to make the switch to Pixel 6A. I had pixel 6, but had bugs. So idk.
I’m deep into the Apple ecosystem but looking to jump out with my next phone. Given up of flagships as I just don’t need most of the features but want to stay with recognised brand i.e. Samsung or Pixel. I’m really interested in this Pixel 6a and looking forward to a full review and hopefully a head-to-head with the A53 5g. Also, what would you recommend as the best Apple Watch alternative for Android? Many thanks from the UK 🇬🇧
Samsung has the Galaxy watches which are pretty good (I have the Galaxy watch 4 since I switched from apple to Samsung) and the pixels are supposedly getting the pixel watches soon. Let me know if you want details on the Galaxy watch 4!
@@christiantello7560 Thanks! Any regrets in moving away from Apple and does it sync seamlessly with your phone? I love Apple products but hate feeling trapped in the ecosystem and as technology improves I’m finding that I’m more than happy with the specs of the current mid-range phones for half the price of a flagship. Thanks for taking the time to comment - much appreciated.
@@thefearofaflatplanet Yeah to be honest I have some regrets. I wanted a change from apple because I wanted a new software experience but unfortunately One UI 4 is a bit sluggish with the occasional crash and the occasional bug here and there. The camera and zoom are good but I can't take photos of moving objects because of the low shutter speed that this phone has, additionally, the video is way better on the iPhone 13 Pro (and the 13 pro models have cinematic mode) which my mom has. I've heard that this pixel is better than the mid-range Samsung phones at the moment but I have no experience with either. I currently have the S22 Ultra. If your looking for a change you should go for it, but if you value consistency with software and camera you should stay with Apple. Edit: by the way, if your friends and family use iMessage to send videos and photos in the UK, you're going to have a hard time getting full-resolution videos from apple to Android. I had to download an application called "send anywhere" where you upload photos and videos and the other person receives it by scanning a QR code. This app is on the app store as well as the play store. Currently, I use telegram (it sends compressed photos and videos) to text with family and friends cause SMS texting sucks as well as Google duo for video calling. If you switch from apple you are for sure going to be doing more work. Edit 2: I live in the US so I have snapdragon. Edit 3: Yes the Galaxy watch 4 pairs seamlessly to my phone as long as Bluetooth is on. The watch was well worth it as I could get texts, calls, etc and the health tracking is pretty good as well.
@@christiantello7560 Thanks again - it’s really interesting to hear your thoughts This is the reason that I’ve not switched before and keep buying Apple products.
