You told your story very well.
I think the fires are deliberate. I have looked into the Lahaina, Maui fire. A man with a channel called Hawaii Real Estate has seen it with his own eyes and interviewed many witnesses. Investors were there the next day trying to buy the land from the Hawaiians. I don’t even know how many died. There is video of cops forcing cars back into the path of the fire. People were forced into the sea. Where there are sharks. Others burned to death in their vehicles or on the ground. It was a holocaust.

I remember seeing this in the news. I’ve been through several wildfires here. I had a little cabin on the side of a mountain , land owned by a couple I know. We were in and out with evacuations. Finally the wind changed and drove the fire to us and my little home was erased. Just some ceramic plates left. The car melted.
The government had forced us to drain the pond which was in past years used to wet the area.
Next fires were in Okanogan County. Firefighters came from several countries and this went on for weeks.
My brother lives in New Mexico and wildfires forced his family to stay in a camp ground to wait it out.
I don’t think we can rely on the government for any help.

I'm so sorry you lost your home.
Why the government forced you to drain the pond? Unbelievable... The wildfires are terrifying, and I do agree, we're on our own.
