The kissing ball, garland with pineapple mold, mice in the cup on fairy tree, old silver ware, messy hair fairy, candle lights in the goblets, everything is so beautiful. Thank you for sharing, have a very Merry Christmas! I love cloves, orange, cinnamon in my tea.
What an enjoyable video while sipping some coffee! ♥ Not sure how it's possible through a screen to "feel" the warmth and Christmas spirit of your home but it comes across. It must smell amazing with all your activities. Wishing your family serene, joyful and happy holidays.
Linda: this is a "visual" comment. I bought the same little tree in your dining room. I took 1 strand of clear warm white incandescent (because I like the glow better) and one set of twinkle lights (both 100 per set each) and put them on the tree. I used plug in but anyone can use battery timer lights as well. Then I plugged into smart plug (Govee). Then I added Kurt Adler glass icicle ornaments all over it! OMG...it looks beautiful. I have a GIANT light green (uranium) fish bowl glass 1920's Cambridge glass bowl that I put the base in for stability (like you) and added red ornaments to the inside of the bowl. I'll switch out to Blue after Christmas. Thank you for inspiring me to think outside the box! The Pineapple mold looks perfect! You are the BEST!
Love all your vintage items you find shopping! Miss Pierce was a part of my growing up in my Jamestown NY grandmother’s dining room. Always loved seeing her elegant demeanor wondering what Miss Pierce’s life was like! I inherited my grandmother’s cherry dining table and sterling silver and love using them.
As always! love your content. Never boring, you give so much inspiration being a care taker, to my husband. I always feel up beat and you give me joy to do things to my home.
Linda your videos are a wonderful escape for me! Time to settle in and live vicariously through you- in what would be a dream for me- New England! Your videos inspire me to slow down, notice nature, think outside the box and be creative. I especially love when you take us around New England- Amherst, NH was so pretty 😱- that first tree - I cannot imagine the time it took to wrap each branch!! Stunning! Your fairy tree was such a delight!!Thank you for letting us join you in these videos!💕
A potato! I never thought of that. I made many of these things in my Thyme in the Garden business for years. It's nostalgic watching you and you do lovely work! Great video.
The garland over the ship is past beautiful. The magnificent ribbon looks so majestic. Linda, it’s just beautiful. May God bless you and your family with health, love and peace.
Loved seeing your collection of Baldwin Brass candlesticks. I started my collection this summer. They are classics and look nice in all seasons. Loved seeing all the beautiful historic homes decorated for the holidays. Such a relaxing video to watch, Linda. You are full of good ideas!
Lovely video, I always relax and take-in all the beauty of your home and Christmas decor. The Kissing ball is unique, and the favored tea sounds delicious. Merry Christmas season to you and your family Linda. 🎅🤶🎄🎁☃️🛷❤💚
Luv the sunrise over the snow covered ground. So pretty. The garland around the ship frame is great. 👍 Sweet Willow 🐾⛄️ The house tour with all the lights is so lovely. Thanks. Enjoy. ✝️🙏🇺🇸🌲⛄️🐾🦌🦃
I LOVE Mason Jars with Yankee Candle lids! A great excuse for buying Yankee Candles! I will check out your containers too! I have 1776-1976 Bi-Centennial Mason Jars! My favorite one is the Liberty Bell! Wide Mouth only!
It's always enjoyable watching your activities and projects. I love the kissing ball and would love to make one. It was interesting to watch you make the different teas also. I used apple peels for apple tea like you did recently. 😊
Still in my PJ's too! Your voice was so calm during the construction of the kissing ball I nearly nodded off while drinking my wake up tea! Love the tea idea. Love seeing Willow enjoying the snow. Beautiful video as always.
Those morning scenes are fabulous. I might even be convinced to drink black coffee to see those morning skies😏 I so enjoy your videos and all the effort you put into these videos.🎄🎄🎄
I use the clear little door stops on your cabinet doors. They stay well and are nearly invisible. We moved from New England to New Jersey and I enjoy the simple beauty of using the "heirlooms" for decor etc. and it IS different here. I love my new friends but the holidays are different.
Happy Sunday. Glad to see your post and all that you are doing. I think that you might be in for more snow. They are saying maybe here, too, in NC. I will believe it when I see it. Your kitchen is so cozy by the fire. The tea gift basket is a lovely idea. Your garlands this year look really pretty. One week to go! I am keeping a tranquil attitude as I finish. I wish you the same as you prepare. (The felt pads for dish placement was genius, btw.)
What a gorgeous place you live. The village at night was so pretty and that wrapped tree. That had to take a long time. I can almost smell the tea. Love the kissing ball. Ypur up.e is beautiful!
The tea sounds so wonderful and would be perfect on an afternoon that has snow blowing outside. The blue color of the sky and air as you talked about the fog is one of my favorite things of winter. There is so much beauty in the crispness of the air. This was such an enjoyable video because you gave us a view of the Christmassiness (not a real word) of your home. Thank you, Linda.
Linda love your channel so much it’s my favorite on Sunday morning!! I look so forward to watching. I hope you have a Merry Christmas my dear ! God bless you ! Thanks for sharing!! ❤
Love your videos and all things New England. Quick question, has Willow recovered from her illness/injury a few months back? She is such a sweetheart 🥰
You do such creative things, Linda. I love it. My favorite was the kissing ball, so simple, yet beautiful! I also loved the candle in the goblet with the coffee and the felt pads as stoppers. Can't wait til next week!
Merry Christmas 🎄! Thank you for all that you do to teach us so many wonderful ways to make life joyous and liveable in this sometimes overwhelming world!!!❤❤❤❤❤
I carry one silver spoon. That my mother received at her wedding during the depression.then if l happen on a thrift store or antique store l can add to my collection.
Your decorations look beautiful, Linda. Thank you for the Kissing Ball tutorial. Something I would love to try. And thanks for that gorgeous view at the beginning!
Love your kissing ball tutorial! Your home looks beautiful for the holidays. It’s such a good feeling when you can forage, your own garden ,for greens, herbs ect. Once again, you made my Sunday, relaxing with your special videos. Merry Christmas to you an Family🥰🎄🎄🎄🎄
I am a tea drinker and I would certainly appreciate yourhomemade blend. Lucky recipients! It is beginning to look like a beautiful Christmas at Sugarwood. Merry week before Christmas!
Coriander and ginger are two main ingredients in the recipe for Indian curry . Not familiar with its use in tea making except for Ginger which is an excellent tonic for an upset stomach. Loved the video ❤ Thank you for sharing.
Another fun and inspiring video! My friend has an herb garden so I am sharing this with her. I don't think she has ever made her own tea and I could only imagine how wonderful yours smelled! Your home looks so beautiful and ready for Christmas!
Love this video always you don’t disappoint love the kissing ball oh heck love every thing merry Christmas to you and Ben and family and dear sweet willow
Hi Linda! When you showed your candles with coffee it reminded me to "thank you" for your cinnamon tip in your last video. I tried it next morning when I refilled my canister and I won't ever make coffee without it again! Delicious even though you don't taste cinnamon. I love your videos Linda....they remind me of Martha Stewart programs from the 80's/90's! Now I plan on making a faux topiary inspired by your potatoe kissing ball...keep that inspiration coming please!! lol Jeannette
Hi Linda! I Absolutely enjoy your videos! Your decor is so very beautiful and timeless. You have inspired me to grow more herbs to make some tea as gifts next year. What a great idea! Happy holidays to you and yours!
Hi Linda ..I am glad to hear you're trying to slow it down because I have done the same myself this year.... even though my house is decorated to the hilt, I have tried to be very mindful and kind of slow things down a bit.... and I've really enjoyed the holiday so far. I always get such a kick out of watching Willow run and roll around in the snow! Your house looks so pretty and festive with all of your beautiful decor ...and it certainly is a New England Christmas at your house, as always! I'm going to make some oven dried oranges this week and hang them on the tree, and the I think my Christmas decorating is done! Until next time.....☃☃
It sounds wonderful! I need to make some fresh orange sliced too. Mine are getting a bit dark. I am decorating a bit less this year and still have the empty Christmas boxes tucked behind furniture vs bringing them back to the garage loft. LOL
Linda, thank you for another enjoyable video. I like all your crafts and decorating ideas. The tour of Christmas lights in Amherst was spectacular. Your homemade herbal teas are a great gift idea; gifts like this are thoughtful and meaningful. Looking forward next week's video. God bless your "kindred spirit". All the best from NYC, Robert.
Wow! That sunrise is absolutely gorgeous. The panes on your window frame each show a little vignette of the sunrise. I wanted some soothing, uplifting content in this turmoil of the world we have right now. Thank you so much. It felt so satisfying to watch your video. Such inspiring ideas. Rooibos = Roy-boss (South African meaning red bush) 😁🙏🏼
The tea is pronounced " Roy-boss" tea. I had to look it up as my curiosity got the better of me. Loved the kissing ball and your magnetic sweater that attracts leaves. I wish I had one for autumn leave raking.
Omg, Linda, the views out of your kitchen window and butler’s pantry are so stunning! The snow, the sunrise❤❤❤❤❤. Your butler’s pantry is my favorite part of your house and the way you’ve redone it is just beyond stunning! And it decorated a bit for Christmas is just everything!
First off, you look so pretty in your blue sweater! Once again you've pulled off making such a cool video. So many things to look at around your house. I love the natural look of things and the subtle colors added. Just Right! :) I really thought the kissing balls were fun. I think I will have to try to make one. I don't have many greens to choose from (living on the Central Coast in California) but I will use whatever I can find. I have Boxwoods and I know I can get some Cedar etc at Trader Joe's. 😂 I hope you have a great time at the party you mentioned you were going to. PS: I ordered those tree candles you mentioned in your last video. I only ordered one box just to see if they worked well etc! Darn! I love them and I can't get another box. They want $14.95 to ship a box and they would come mid January. This was the only buying option. My box was the price of the item and tax! When I heard you mention you ordered several boxes I thought to myself, "why didn't I think of that!" Oh well, there's always next year. Thanks for turning me on to these. See, I learn sooooo much from you! Sorry if I'm rambling on this time but I can't help it. I hope Ben, You, and Willow have an awesome Sunday. 🎄
Hi Linda, thanks for the video, I usually do not comment. How do you decorate/use/store old cutlery? I have quite a few pieces I found on the antique markets in Europe, but feels I should also decorate with them, they look so nice, particularly ladles. I love rooibos tea! I think it’s pronounced Roy bows but that could just be the Chicago version😂. Rooibos tea can increase estrogen levels so I stopped drinking it because I have endometriosis. Something to consider. And tea IS beautiful!
I didn’t know that about the estrogen. I will drink more. I had to have a hysterectomy from endometriosis. And now they’re looking to put me on hormone replacement after 15 years.
I don't know how you had the patience to use all the stems in the little potato. Love it.
I just had to go ahead and comment after the first few seconds. That morning sunrise view from your kitchen window!! Wow … no words. Just stunning!!!
Your fairy tree is delightfully magical. I think I will start collecting fairies for next year. My grandkids will love a fairy tree.
I am so so happy to see Willow back to playing in the snow!! Love you so Willow!!

Love your video, Linda. Especially the early morning sunrise… The house looks so warm and cozy. Very Christmasy. Thank you for sharing.

Loved the fairy tree!!!!! I have collected fairy’s for years
The-hard-to-pronounce tea is called ROY BUS with the most emphasis on the first syllable. It took me a long time to learn this. 😊👌
A German friend taught me to pronounce it Roy Bush...accent on the Roy syllable.
What an enchanting video; filled with magical touches of tradition!
Still in my PJ's too! Your voice was so calm during the construction of the kissing ball I nearly nodded off while drinking my wake up tea! Love the tea idea. Love seeing Willow enjoying the snow. Beautiful video as always.
Oh, would love to taste the tea 🍵 😋 Terrific video enjoyed seeing homes in Amherst.
Wow! Sunrise is beautiful!🌅

What elegant taste the NH community has!
Love your tea “tray” idea with the jars. Your Christmas decor is warm and kind of magical!
I like all your Christmas decorations.. I really like what you did with the potato, the mistletoe.

The kissing ball is beautiful.
Thank you!
Linda thank you for showing how DIY actually works. When the demonstration is perfect and then I run into problems and I feel so discouraged.
Linda I tried to get that leaf hanging couldn’t grab it 🎄🎄🎄💜
Thanks for trying!!! 🤣
The tea is pronounced " Roy-boss" tea. I had to look it up as my curiosity got the better of me. Loved the kissing ball and your magnetic sweater that attracts leaves. I wish I had one for autumn leave raking.
Thank you!

❤️
Can you grow Roselle in your area? It makes a delicious tea, jelly, and other drinks.
Daphna
I will have to look into that!
Love the tour but that music is Great!
That hat would be cute on a snowman even if put on just long enough for a photo.
What a cute idea!
Hi Linda, thanks for the video, I usually do not comment. How do you decorate/use/store old cutlery? I have quite a few pieces I found on the antique markets in Europe, but feels I should also decorate with them, they look so nice, particularly ladles. (also while I am at it, any chance you would consider having music so loud? silence and your voice are so much better). Greetings from Croatia
I love rooibos tea! I think it’s pronounced Roy bows but that could just be the Chicago version😂. Rooibos tea can increase estrogen levels so I stopped drinking it because I have endometriosis. Something to consider. And tea IS beautiful!
I think that is the way my friend says it now that you spelled it like that!
I didn’t know that about the estrogen. I will drink more. I had to have a hysterectomy from endometriosis. And now they’re looking to put me on hormone replacement after 15 years.
@@newenglandfineliving definitely do your research! I could be wrong😬
