They had an arcade machine of this game down at my local roller rink when I was young. A girl who had a crush on me invited me there. I ended up largely ignoring her and spending close to $10 playing it. No regrets.

Well depending on how young you were it doesn't sound as much of a bad idea(think about it you could've preggered her). I spent 7$ on the mall when Tekken 5 DR just to learn Lili ( granted if I were to face younger me now I would make younger me look like a fool for thinking that he only needed 7 arcade runs to learn a character). I was supposed to show my Mexican cousin around town and we spent like two hours there instead lol

Spawn in the Demon's hand was from the video game Dreamcast I had one long ago this game is awesome, I really like this game was my favorite Dreamcast in addition to this game Dreamcast had many other cool games of the highest quality for the time Shenmue, The evil Dead, Zombie revenge, sonic adventures 1,2, Speed Devils, Soldier of fortune, Stunt GP and many others I think it's 14 years ago the last time I played this game I remember.

Smoofyful Nah man, remember when he beats both God and Satan, banishing them and locking them away? Even though they are totally boned, they're back anyways in the Satan Saga Wars. (Which funnily enough is one of the best Spawn stories in a LONG time. Or perhaps ever.) Or that one time he fought the KKK?

There's special moves you can do in the game, all characters have have at least more than one.
You can also roll to dodge. It's weird because you have to be in first person to roll out.

Brimstone and DA spawn are the best.. get them leveled up and u can one shot some one.. it’s nuts, plus brimstone has a second more powerful mode

Redeemer does have a cape in game and so does spawn III, if I remember right you have to push 2 buttons at the same time, it and forgot the other button. Man Ive wanted this game to be on the modern consoles arcades to relive childhood

I loved this game, it was the third most-played Dreamcast game in my library, right after Soulcalibur and MvC2. Only thing that irks me to this day is that I could never find Angela's lance/spear.
OMFG I remember playing this on dreamcast. This is the game that introduced me to video games. It came only a few years after I was born. I played this shit in my earliest childhood memories. Thanks Matt for reminding me of this nostalgic game

Actually here's something very amusing to know: The Admonisher was created by... Alan. Moore.
He appears in Moore's Violator three-issue mini-series, which is actually a hilarious comedy-parody farce where Moore is taking the piss out of the material. Tony Twist hires The Admonisher to kill Violator who is trapped in his Clown from, and then Violator is cornered at a mall by the Admonisher and his brothers, which results in the Admonisher kicking the Phlebiac Brothers asses as he demands to know which of them is or where is Roosevelt while the brothers bitch at eachother while Violator opens up about his problems with a severed head stuck on his forearm.
And the Admonisher communicates almost exclusively in artistically bad catchphrases about chastising someone.
(PS: Funny thing about Supreme is that when Alan Moore took over the character, his deal with Liefeld was that Moore gets to ignore everything written about the character ever before his tenure. This resulted in both in an all-time great comic series and the only challenger to All-Star Superman as the best Superman series, since Moore basically just made Supreme into a pastiche/parody/eulogy to Silver Age Superman)

My roomie in college bought a Dreamcast and had it in our dorm room.
This was the first game he kind of just found in a store and bought for it because he couldn't find a copy of Soul Calibur.
Unfortunately, he was expecting it to be a fighting game like Soul Calibur and it.......wasn't.
So, he was pissed and ended up returning it, but I didn't think it was too bad. I kind of wish he'd kept it.
Personally, I ended up buying Anarachy Reigns years later and, to me, it's basically a WAY better version of whatever this game was trying to do.
Use Brimstone transformation next time.

ItThunderbolt he‘s a Christian religious fanatic who maimed himself as an offering for god and wants to kill spawn because he came from hell. He cut off his own arm and replaced it with cybernetics. So in martyr-like fashion, he yells Hallelujah. Don’t know if I got it all correct, I read this in like 96 or so.

Ah yes, one of the only two (maybe three?) spawn games that approaches actual quality. Too bad the final boss is lame as shit. Not the single player one the multiplayer, where you fight Malebolgia who dies in about two seconds because someone forgot to add an extra zero to his health bar

A big trend in 90s comic books is that no one gave a damn about the writing because people were just buying it for the cover art so they could re-sell it in 30 years when it would surely be worth a lot. Thank god the speculator boom crashed.
