    As a sufferer from a genetic disease myself, this story is great.
    Much love to the families involved in this ❤

    Firstly to the Lagana family my deepest sympathies to you all
    Leo was a very big bright light way beyond his size
    A light that shone as brightly as Leo's light beam never goes out, never dims nor ever fades
    What an absolute gift Leo was
    RIP Leo

    Stories like this are so heart warming but also heart breaking at the same time. Despite the hand that life had dealt him Leo embraced it. So much personality in such a small body. Condolences to Leo's family and friends for the loss of such a sweet young man.

      I mean, my nephew is nearly 2 and doesn't even talk yet (he's trying and sounds like he's talking but not in English but gibberish etc) and he has LOADS of personality for a small little human being. Kids of any size have a broad spectrum of personalities lol. My cousin basically was a stern and quiet adult from the beginning even as an 8 yr old he had a way to make me (his eldest cousin) feel like a silly weirdo lol

      @@amandasnider2644 Is your nephew displaying any other developmental delays? I ask because he sounds like my son at the same age. I was the only one who knew what he saying and that was only because I was with him all the time. There were other delays as well. He was diagnosed with Aspergers.
      Yes I agree with you. Most children have great personalities.

      @lindab424 My sister is looking into taking him to speech therapy to check things out. He does say a few words and he's shockingly smart but it is something I personally worry about but won't say out loud quite yet. He's ag high risk of having ADHD however as his dad has it, I have it (his auntie) and his momma was misdiagnosed with it as a kid but actually just has an unspecified learning disorder.
      He's incredibly smart and knows pretty much what everyone is asking of him or pointing out to him etc. We were amazed that he could point to every single family member when we asked, where is _____? Hilariously everyone except his mom lol.
      There's some traits that maybe could hint at neurodiversity like having preferences or whatever but then again, he is a toddler after all. His passion is picking up rocks and throwing them, preferably into water but luckily not at anyone or anything. He also appears to favor red, red food, red cars, red pj's etc.
      But it really seems like he's just speaking another language because he will repeat himself when he's clearly asking a question. He primarily communicates by grunts, a teeny bit of sign language that he gets mixed up and dragging you over to show you something.
      His terrible twos are just starting to show, he's learning how to tantrum dramatically now lol

    In the segment it appeared that they were able to offer hope for prolonging the life of these wonderfully special humans! What happened and why couldn’t Leo have more years? Angels keep him safe please.😢
    He was turned away from children’s hospital and forced into an adult facility…..it obviously did not go well….an investigation apparently is underway. Search Lagana Family.

    Respectfully: Y’all should put a RIP in the beginning of the episodes where these people have passed away. At first, my brain didn’t understand that the title meant by “remembering,” I just saw the image and was like, “Oh how interesting….” I figured you were just touching back on the story or something….
    Watching this, then finding out he d!3d, is kind of like kicking us in the throat…. Like, “Look at this amazing life thriving! Isn’t it great? Doesn’t it fill you with inspira- aaaaaand it’s gone. They d!3d. Well, there goes your hope things will turn out for the best.” (I know it’s in the description, but on cellphones, that’s under a drop menu under the video… So you actually have to click it to open and read)
    RIP Leo. Fly high, lil man. ❤

    • @lindab424
      @lindab424 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Respectfully - You acknowledge it is written in the description that he died. You also acknowledge that you know that in order to read to the description on your phone you have to use your drop down menu. Even on the laptop you have to click on the description to be able to read the whole description. The information is there in black and white for you. What more do you want from them? Seriously, even the use of the word 'remembering' in the title indicates he has died.

    • @artisthusnatalal3099
      @artisthusnatalal3099 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@lindab424The written ....remembering....didn't sound to me he's dead. I thought they covered his story years ago and now they're remembering him again to show us how he's keeping up with his life. Didn't know he was gone💔

    • @lindab424
      @lindab424 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@artisthusnatalal3099 Then maybe you too should have read the description! It's not rocket science.

      @@lindab424If a third person comes and write the same will you tell the third person....You three blah blah blah.....? Try to learn to accept people's opinions. People understand and and think differently. I guess you're the one who uploaded the video so please next time include RIP or he / she died but we're remembering his / her story. Doesn't cost a thing

    There are five main types of Primordial Dwarfism. The term means that you are behind the growth curve from the point your size can be measured in the womb and you stay behind from then on. PD's are born very small. Only two forms of PD are strongly associated with a short lifespan; MOPD1 and MOPD2, these tend to be among the smallest people on the planet. Those with Seckel syndrome can sometimes have shorter lifespans. The other two types, Russell-Silver syndrome and Meier-Gorlin syndrome commonly, live a normal lifespan. Most PDs are *proportionate* but these conditions are very rare.
    The majority of cases of dwarfism, about 70%, are caused by a condition called Achondroplasia and is classed as one of the causes of *disproportionate* dwarfism. This results in the limbs of a persons body being short compared to their torso and head. And it is classed as disproportionate dwarfism. No doubt it is the image that most people picture in their minds when they think of dwarfism.
