I'm in total agreement with you! Too often we hear/read about the inhumane treatment people have for one another...not to mention why this behavior seems to be accepted as commonplace. The world we live in is so corrupt, but I do believe that there's is still GODLY love left for humanity towards one another. I'll always believe that. Always.

So many heroes in this video: Yahya himself, the precious neighbor girl and her father, Yahya's mother and father, the angel woman in Australia and the doctors who have the knowledge, talent and skill to help the little boy. Many blessing to all! Sending love and light.
The more stories like this I see, the more in awe I am of the brilliant maxillofacial and craniofacial surgeons out there. They save lives and rehabilitate bodies so beautifully, how could I not be in awe? When you add the magic of Yahya's little friend's father putting out the need to help this boy, it is just so heartwarming!
"He doesn't look human." STOP right there. Put it in reverse and back this truck up. I don't know who they're looking at, but I see a smiling, laughing, sweet-natured little boy who brings joy to his parents and neighbors, loves giving and receiving hugs and has already won the heart of a beautiful girl. Yahya means "God is merciful." Everything about this sweet child is beautiful and inspiring. Edit: Just so there's no misunderstanding, I hold nothing against the man who said, "He doesn't look human". I think it's wonderful that he took the time to interview, record and share Yahya's story!
You’re so right. It’s all the child has known is love. He’s not ashamed because he has never been told he needs to be. He is a walking angel that will go on to great things. I hate the word “productive”. How about replacing that with healthy and happy. Money and paying taxes is the only thing I can think of to use the word productive. We need housing, food, heat in winter, AC in summer, and electricity. We don’t all want golden toilets.
@Zander V I wasn't shocked at all. My first thought was, "I wish I could hug him." My second thought was, "He exudes love." I've worked with children and young adults with special needs. In every case, and just like Yahya, each person has exhibited an incredible ability to amplify love.
Fatima seems to be more enthusiastic, excited, and emotional than his mother. It's almost like she's entranced by Yahya and has been waiting her whole life for him to enter her world. Amazing how the love and acceptance of Hiba (the sweet little girl next door) kind of set this journey for Yahya underway 😇
Her personality is different than his mom. His mom is not a person who wants to be in the spotlight, IMO. We are all different, and handle things differently. We cannot all be the center of attention, nor do we want to be. Not saying that is wrong, but not everyone is like that, or can be like that.
The language barrier probably plays a big role in how his mother reacts, too. I noticed when the surgeon came in to tell them that they would be able to operate, Fatima immediately burst into tears and he said “you might want to tell mom” because I’m assuming she had no idea what he was telling them. I love the passion that Fatima has for this child, but it’s a little bit overbearing in my opinion. His mother was probably extremely overwhelmed with everything, I know I would be in her position. Camera crews, trying to mother a 3 year old boy in a completely different country where you don’t know the language, being concerned about his health and the massive surgery he’s about to undergo, understanding the possibility of him dying during this surgery, being away from their family…it’s a lot for one person to deal with in completely normal circumstances!
It seems she is a little bit quieter in her emotions but she obviously cares deeply and loves her son so much. Even at 10:42 you can see how she is tearing up seeing Fatima’s emotions over her son. I think the difference here is that obviously there was a language barrier for the family when communicating for the doctors but also when your child is to undergo serious surgery, it must be difficult to just be happy-you are also incredibly worried, hoping for the best; you are as scared as you are hopeful. The place of a parent in this situation means that they experience the turmoil of the situation too.
Everyone involved in this story is so wonderful but I have to say Fatima is beyond incredibly sweet, you can tell she has a huge heart and is a very emotional person. She so wants what’s best for Yahya it’s bursting from her. What an absolutely genuinely wonderful woman

Moroccan Children's Appeal | Melbourne VIC| Update March 15 2024 Hello, Many of you wonderful people have been eagerly waiting for an update on our little hero Yahya. Last year, I had the privilege of visiting Yahya and his family in Morocco where I was delighted to see firsthand how well he's doing since undergoing life-changing surgery that has significantly improved his speech, confidence and overall ability to perform tasks with ease which were previously challenging for him before his surgery. Spending time with the family during my trip has brought immense joy especially seeing Yahya and his younger sister Amal thriving and looking so healthy and happy ❤❤ A previous update showed this little dude diving and swimming, great little champion! This video was also made in 2014.

And his little best friend, Heba, is lovely too. What a beautiful story of hope and kindness.
She's a lovely girl
When they grow up into adults, someday in the future they will have kids on their own and hopefully their future kid will have normal face.

Yahya: you know, son. Your mother and I met when I was 3 years old born without a face and she doesn’t judge for who I am and she is always my best friend!
Son: wow, mom is awesome!
The love that the little girl have for her friend is simply amazing.
I cried the whole time with Fatima.... she is truly an angel!!!
This woman, Fatima, she is so beautiful, her soul literally RADIATES. Bless her, she is truly a miracle.
Imagine a person saving someone's life who herself is unsure of hers.
Not all are so heartwarming 🙏🏻
Huge respect to fatima
She’s a liar god you’re gullible. She talks about seeing a little boy but then earlier said she thought his face was horrifying. Then she puts in forced tears yet not a single drop of tear?
Fatima meeting this little boy was so emotional 😭
I cried a lot
Yes she makes me cry alot 😭😭😭😭may God help the doctors to awonderful surgery
She’s a fake. Not even one tear comes from her eyes the entire video. And she described his face when she first saw it as shocking and horrifying yet later claims she saw only a little boy. She’s a complete liar.
@@zzodysseuszzI’m going to watch it again now

What an incredible story. That lady is an angel for Yahya and his family. Bravo to the lady for helping. Every child deserves a childhood and loving parents. Yahya is in good hands.
A cultures success is measured by how they treat their children...
🥰
And their weak essentially, people who cannot fend for themselves- the ill, the convalescent, the elderly, the differently abled etc
I am sure in Gods eyes , all cultures are viewed in this way .also it seems that to GOD, we are all innocent children , always .

The little girl, his friend sees the real boy, not his imperfection, their souls like and understand each other, so lovely, have a nice day ❤️❤️
So beautifully said❤️
The friendship is awesome but she's just a kid untainted by the biases we all develop with knowledge and experience.
That is one of the virutes of ignorance.
The girl could teach grown ups how to accept the little boy as he is and not what's he's not
Teaches us to be grateful for everything we have even our health and well being.
This child will become someone great one-day inspiring others.
Fatima is so full of empathy and compassion. She is truly a great woman.
Fatima is such an 😇 Angel! What a beautiful heart she has for to go above n beyond to help this dear boy! ❤
May GOD bless Yahya 's friend dad who went on line first to put Yahya story out for help. And also bless all those who are helping Yahya.

I'm glad they (parents) didn't reject him because of his deformation
Despite his deformity , he's a very sweet little fella. Glad the doctor gave him back his smile .

Update March 15 2024
Hello,
Many of you wonderful people have been eagerly waiting for an update on our little hero Yahya. Last year, I had the privilege of visiting Yahya and his family in Morocco where I was delighted to see firsthand how well he's doing since undergoing life-changing surgery that has significantly improved his speech, confidence and overall ability to perform tasks with ease which were previously challenging for him before his surgery.
Spending time with the family during my trip has brought immense joy especially seeing Yahya and his younger sister Amal thriving and looking so healthy and happy ❤❤
A previous update showed this little dude diving and swimming, great little champion!
This video was also made in 2014.
Thank you for the update.
I admire the docs work " we are not experimenting with his life but we really want to help. May God help you all to fix Yahya face for him and even the little tender age friend neighbour
Pls give us a follow up on the surgery for this sweet boy Yaya.
Most importantly, May his surgery be a Success to enable him to have a much Better life 🙏
Part 2 is up. Go watch it :)

I am so happy to hear his community loves him. They didn’t reject him like others would have. Sweet child, stay strong. You have already beat all odds. God bless you.
May God guide those medical experts to provide him with a face. May God bless him with a beautiful and productive life. May God bless this wonderful angel that believed she can make a difference. Her faith proved that she did.
❤️🙏🏼
Amen
Wouldn't god just given him one if he wanted him to have one to begin with?
