That was the best game. I played it competitively until Black Ops 1 Era. PAM mode (ESL and other ladders). Pure skill counted there. I also think of great teams like Dignitas, Speedlink, Esuba, Tek9 etc. The game shaped my youth and is a great part of it :)
I had bit of Liminal space feeling when going into old cellar in one castle last Friday, in real life. The cellar was used to store ice originally. Like a cave, high ceiling, floor area bigger than some apartments, muddy floor, so cold there was slight mist. I heard there were some bats hiding at times. In a way it was similar. I knew why it was empty, both a multiplayer map (Renegade X some nights after midnight UTC-0) and the cellar. Still it had this creepy vibe. BTW, nice editing there, bokey.
