Very well times! We just did a photoshoot last week :D I LOVE playing with angles and direction with my photography, i think it adds so much story. I dont take many selfies at all let alone wushu selfies but i love the remote shutter idea for a cell phone camera. I might have to give a self photoshoot a shot (lol) sometime!
Interesting! I think these tips could pertain to many athletic photos. THe other thing I might highlight is how your costuming sometimes extends the lines in photos to make them more dramatic.
Love your channel Rebecca! I also enjoy combining beautiful backdrops with my kung fu (traditional - and not as pretty as yours!) and, as I live in Tainan, Taiwan it's not difficult finding gorgeous backdrops - especially with the wealth of traditional architecture here. Agree with all your points - but maybe you could include clothing as well. Your costumes look great - but not sure about the socks in one of them! I'm interested in the potential of combining designer clothes and Wushu - I'd love to do a project combining Wushu athletes, and an up-and-coming designer brand and top photographers. Maybe it will come to pass next year......something to work toward....
Sounds amazing! Yes, clothing would be an interesting way to really enhance the photos - I'd love to try wearing hanfu or other traditional wear sometime for a photoshoot... Thanks for your comment!
ahh drop the remote - arnt u afraid to lose the remote LOL i just pose like I am if I was doing the form, but I guess that means doing wushu...hehe...great tips!!! never really broke it down like you did I guess
Lol! The shutter remote has a little wrist strap that I edit out.... which is kind of a pain...but I keep choosing this rather than the social awkwardness of asking anyone to take pictures or film me lol. 😂
You deserve more subscribers 😊🙏
