I said it before and I'll say it again. The Casey Neistat of Nascar. Casey is often thought of the prince of TH-cam vlogging and now has made a career out of TH-cam. Eric is that but for us in the Nascar/Auto Racing community.

Pretty cool to see your name on a racecar. I've been a fan, a pit crewman, a sponsor and a team owner over the years. It's not that difficult to help sponsor a driver. Go to your local short track, buy a pit pass and help out someone that doesn't have a lot of help. It gives you a whole new insight on what's really happening that you'll never get anywhere else.

So wild to see my name on the car, can’t imagine how special it was for Eric. Super cool.
I went to Phoenix for the first time back in fall 2017 as a guest of JD Motorsports with their "unknown" driver Ross Chastain in the #4 Flex Seal car. It's a team that may not have the funding of some of the bigger teams, but Johnny Davis and his crew were very nice and hospitable and I got to chat with Ross for about 15 minutes. It was a great experience.
Not all of us get to live out a dream. Just watching this video makes me happy you got to live out yours. You deserve it. Keep up the great work!

New media has also brought me back to the sport. There are a bunch of great independent nascar youtubers like david land, slapshoes, and Black flags matter and also great podcasts like NWP, DBC and Stacking Pennies.
