Thank you. This is now my all time favorite car. Regarding views, I'm kinda use to subscribers not watching my videos. It's fine. The highlight for me is getting to drive these amazing cars
@@TunedIntoCars Those cars are so hard to come by here. I'm am always debating and comparing my F87C to a Cayman S which is closer to my range. But the Porsche prices and lack of allocations make it prohibitive for some of us. It was great to see how a former M2C person reacts to the Porsche brand regarding driver experience
Nice. I thought the front end was my a 991.2 gt3 though. That’s what I tell people. I have both 991.2 gt3 touring and gt4 RS. One manual and one pdk. Love them both
Thank you for a great review! But trust me: you do not need the front lift. The splitter rides actually quite high compared e.g. to the regular 981 GT4 or even the Spyder. How do I know: I have owned a 981 GT4 and Spyder since 2016 and a 718 GT4 RS since 2022. I haven't had one single incudent when the front splitter would have scratched the tarmac or speedbumbs.
@@TunedIntoCars Maybe try to readjust your driving. I can drive this car without FL on any public road in the world 100%. You need to make an effort ? Yes. BUT is DOABLE. So it depends if you are willing to do that effort ( for example take every speed bump in diagonal at a lower speed )
Awesome review. I am in the USA and snapped up an allocation. It goes into production at the end of August. I had to trade in my GTS 4.0 immediately as part of the deal. I am concerned about the stiffness of the ride because even though I track, I also like my car for fun weekend drives. It seems like a lot of people blow this out of proportion. I can't wait to get behind the wheel!
I think it's been blown out of proportion, the suspension harshness. I mean, it's an RS product, at the end of the day. But it's definitely usable on the road.
@@TunedIntoCars Thank you. I am so stoked. It is going to see plenty of track and AutoX days. I plan on keeping it until I can't get it and out of it anymore. So fun decades to come!
Great review, refreshing to not follow the sheep. I absolutely agree with you on ride comfort, all the complaints I hear about being too stiff , utter nonsense - I did 1,000km in a day to expedite the run in, all on back roads and mountain roads in Australia and it was perfectly fine all day. I previously had a 981 GT4 and then a 991.2 GT3 and like you always hankered for the GT engine and gearbox in the cayman chassis. I have lapped just as fast on track as I did in GT3 because I much prefer the cayman chassis balance when driving hard. Seats are very comfortable, I added a $50 inflatable lumbar cushion concealed from view and now the seat is epic. As for the noise being annoying, I get that but it’s loud when you want it, quiet when you don’t. And when you want loud, that noise still makes me laugh out loud, every time I blast to 9000. And I like the fact the noise is for me inside but it’s not obnoxiously noisy outside. I went for Weissach with steel cage which is cheaper than titanium, front axle lift, no mag wheels, no ceramics. I reckon it’s about perfect for back road driving and occasional track use. I can’t imagine what I’d ever replace it with that would be better 🤷♂️
The problem with the GT4RS is the lack of proper wishbone front suspension, meaning it can't actually carry the power of the engine when turning in (as the GT3 is able to). And that isn't a cheap fix.
Yeah, heard that in a lot of reviews, from all the superhero journalists. But when I actually drove it on the road, in actual real life situations it's just as spectacular as a GT3. Sure, on a track, when you're chasing laptimes, you'll feel the difference, but 99% of the time, you won't
Great clip. Love my 4RS. Puts a smile on my face every time I’m behind the wheel. Just a beast in all the best ways.
Cheers!
Just secured an allocation. Mine is coming this August. Seriously cannot wait!!
That was a great intro. Red line.Tbis video is thorough and makes me want to drive. Could be one of your best to date. More people need to see this.

It is. The front end is from a 991 GT3 not a carerra4
Back is bespoke to the gt4, but would be equivalent to a gt3
Best review that I've seen on this car. True feelings and great editing! I can't get enough of those drive by shots!
Fantastic review, I think you’ve captured the sound better than any other review I’ve seen!
Very entertaining video with great information, deserves more likes and more subscribers for the channel!
Keep up the good work!!

Unfortunately that's not the case in Sweden. You really do need that lift system, especially on some of the speedbumps close to where I live

Best review I’ve seen on any car let alone an RS Porsche 👌🏻 subscribed to you immediately keep up the content and videos .

P.s. what a car you've bought. Congrats! I hope you drive the hell out of it!!!!

Amazing video quality & editing 👌
The car is a little beast

Agreed, not a cheap fix, but what if someone with a TH-cam channel and a following spent the time and money to create something that didn’t exist?
In my opinion car is drivable when SE is off and not drivable when is ON. :) So is not pointless at all, that button!
It is pointless, because by default it's off 😁
