Richard, I do not post often anymore but do enjoy watching your videos. You clean out the ditches reminded me when I was a young boy in the 50s and 60s, I can just hear dad, you boys get out there and clean those ditches so when it rains the water will just run off into the river. At some point and time, we knew to keep the ditch clean that way dad would not have to tell us. A lot of people this day will just say oh someone else will clean them out and those are the people that will end up with property damage. Enjoyed the little look inside your house, from what i did see it looks wonderful inside, I know you and your fur buddies enjoy it. Looking forward to the next video.
Your wanting the build a carport ,maybe you should think of building a storm cellar. They can protect you in bad weather. I would think of that real soon. Your just making and building all kinds of things. Looks good ,your place does . I think a carport is a good idea . It can protect your vehicles from flying debris and bad weather.
We had 9.5 inches of wet heavy snow hit us here in S/E Wisconsin from 5pm Thursday night until 6am Friday morning. What a mess. It warmed up to 36 and the sun came out just long enough to make the snow heavier and harder to blow with the snow thrower.... We've been blessed this winter with nowhere near the normal snow fall but we've had our share of rain and then BITTER COLD..,. When my wife finely retires we're sell this big old house and moving to east Tennessee Where we were to go to when I retired back in 2009 but she got scared and refused to take early retirement because she was only 49 and had a good job...

Even with a major storm brewing, you've sure got the cabin looking nice and cozy for you and Smoky and Dolly. Our power was out for almost 6 hours last Friday after the winds and we didn't know if we were going to make it, lol !! You not only make it look easy but make us jealous with how peaceful things are at the Outpost. And as an added bonus, you never have to worry about a storm knocking your power out.🙂
I’m not really sure it’s a 13 inch drywall knife that I found on Amazon and ordered it. It wasn’t one of the real expensive ones. But you can sharpen it to where it will hold a good age for quite a while

preparation and planning takes so much time to get ready identifying logs to use milling them and prepping them to use and last after being burnt.

I have used it indoors but I don’t know of any smell that has bothered or irritated me in anyway
