I’ve watched a number of your videos tonight while staying awake with my elderly & ill cat who will soon be departing this world. It is quite late & I am somewhat tired so I may not be commenting on the correct video but I wanted to make this comment. Now, I haven’t watched all of your videos on the 1980’s but I’m referring to the one that shows the top 300 of the 1980’s. I was surprised & disappointed that there was no mention of Bennie Mardones. I’m sure that some people are tired of “Into the Night.” Unfortunately, Bennie Mardones had many other songs that in my opinion were better than “Into the Night,” but his songs didn’t receive enough air play. Still, “Into the Night” should have been on your list, at least once, as it was a top ten hit two separate times. Maybe you did mention him in another video that I have not yet seen. If so, I’d appreciate being informed as to where I can find this reference. Bennie had a fabulous voice with an amazing vocal range. I appreciate that I was fortunate to hear him perform live. Thank you for your videos that I have already viewed . I have greatly enjoyed them & I have subscribed. I just wish that Bennie Mardones had been included in the top 300 videos of the 1980’s.

Thank you for acknowledging that Bennie Mardones’ work deserves more attention. I wish his song, “Heart in my hand,” had become a hit for him. The melody & the lyrics are beautiful, a bit melancholy but beautiful. Besides having a magnificent voice, he was also an exceptional writer. The talent of the top 300 of the 1980’s was impressive. I cannot say that I would have picked everyone on your list but I was happy to see the majority of them. For the ones that weren’t my favourites, I still agree that they were quite talented, just not necessarily my type of music. I look forward to watching more of your videos. Thank you.
