Jorge Masvidal 1979 Monte Carlo build

Here is Jorge Masvidal 1979 Chevy Monte Carlo, that we built for him, we did a full air ride suspension on it from Accuair a set of 13 inch wire wheels from luxur , we went with a LS2. 6.0 backed up with a 4L80 transmission pulley kit headers exhaust custom intake manifold nothing too crazy just very reliable , for the hot summer, we went with a vintage air, AC system and a set of Dakota digital gauges. Sorry Jorge that LS2 isn't the one you should of built & engine builders will tell you that LS 7 & up is better the block handles higher RPM and they build higher horsepower nice Montecarlo

That LS2 is plenty for that car. And not every engine builder will tell you the LS7 is the way to go. They’ll ask what the purpose is. If you want a big N/A engine then yes the ls7. If you want boosted, then the iron block 5.3’s and 6.0’s are the way to go. Aluminum blocks can’t take much boost or nitrous.
