I had an Ultramarine army back in the day with some Imperial Guard too. Warhammer is absolutely more niche than a lot of games I'd play, so I hope those of you watching this really enjoy it!

Idk if it shows up later, but a good way into the game you can find a data slate of a Tech Priest describing a piece of machinery, and how the machine spirit inside is being temperamental and is for some reason displeased despite the proper rites being used. When they mentioned streamers I probably not being a job anymore I wanted to actually make a comment piping in that they sorta do still exist... Just moreso as 24/7 preachers reading and talking about the imperial cult and the emperor. I guess it's more like a radio host but they probably also would have visual components like a video or hologram feed of them so I guess a v-tuber is also a good comparison?

But yeah you're absolutely right there's a metric boatload of lore and details, some of it contradictory or retconned and there's some people who really, REALLY, care about it and correct even the most minute mistakes.

@@ACasualFool If I remember from Luetin09 correctly, it's actually a person, and you have to go around making sure ALL the candles are lit, you only get hours of sleep (or where you can), and have to do the rounds - meaning you can be climbing up into the dankest corners to make sure candles are lt. Most who serve in this role die by their 30's, if not sooner.

The only things close to Japan in 40k are the T'au and a really obscure Imperial Guard regiment that I don't think's been mentioned since 3rd Edition. And yes, I loved this video. I actually have a Thousand Sons army, and half of a Necron one. The lore nerd part of my brain was screaming at points, but the rest of me was laughing along. I have no complaints. The Horus Heresy being "Daddy Issues" though, that's 100% accurate.

Ok well they usually send space marines. Custodes are incredibly rare outside Terra, an Inquisitor isn't a bad choice for feared lol.
But the Psi-Titan is an insane choice bro, you went from custodes to not just a titan but a PSI-TITAN. Like yeah, obviously that overrules the power scale against a space marine but it's usually more feasible to throw space marines at a problem than a rare titan.
