There is a solid bracket that bolts the transaxle to the “anti-torque” bracket that must be broken. The bracket does not just push against the transaxle, it is attached to it through another.
Nice video. I too have a Husqvarna, but with a 42" cut and same hours. I'm thankful my frame hasn't gone to pot like yours. If I could make a suggestion: you should always throttle down before you shut off the engine or engage the PTO--less shock to the components.
Hey bro, new sub here. Good first video! We have a 2014 Husqvarna YTH 24 v 48 just found out why we have scalping that can’t be adjusted, can you say broken frame? We have rough terrain and just really put it through its paces. 230 hrs After my wife finishes her mowing and I finish with the splitter for next winters firewood , I’m going to repair mower! Looking forward to seeing your next video! ☮✌🏻
Same issue I had same mower. I put a set of steel tubes like trailing links to give the flanges triangulation . I bought an other frame . What is the correct size for the drive belt ?
Hey Thanks for responding. Hope this helps. Just mowed again after 2.5 weeks in Florida. Came back and grass was very high and thick, and it is seed head season here in Virginia with tall, hard stalks with seed heads on top. It is murder on blades and mowing power but the ole girl performed quite well!
Great job old friend. Well done and explained excellently. Easy to follow.
Kevin I honestly got to say thats the best repair video i have ever seen, i have same symptom's I hope it helps me and Roll Tide!

Glad to help, Alan.

They sell new brackets for these mowers as it's a common problem. The frames as break in half also.
Excellent video sir. Much appreciated!

Today I’ve found the exact same issues you’ve had with belt slipping and trans hanging forward.

Let's all take a moment together and thank the good lord Jesus Christ this man isn't a doctor.
Was the FRONT Transaxle mounting bolts broken as well?
None of the bolts were broken.
