Because ICE cars suck. Too many parts and too complicated.

Maybe by that time your warranty will be up for that repair, and then they’ll be rid of you pretty standard issue for dealerships to do that. I used to work at one. Service writers are for the most, not the most honest people at the dealership, and boy you can believe that.

I think the ICE trucks also have their own place, but I think it's going away. What will be the next mainstream power I don't know. It could be EV or solar-powered EV. What about hydrogen?

One more reason not to buy a gas truck. Get an EV. Our family will never own a gas vehicle again.

Both EVs and gas cars have their pluses and minuses.

@ For me, there are no minuses with EVs so we now own 3. Both primary and vacation home have EV charging. Cost of ownership is much less than gas. Charging infrastructure is adequate for the road trips we take. We are contributing to cleaner air and sustainability. I love the advanced technology features and acceleration. And, we are driving a very safe vehicle, not a hybrid which frequently catch on fire.

This is the first hybrid Cybertruck. Watch th-cam.com/video/EK9eRseYoRk/w-d-xo.html or read Johann's story at www.torquenews.com/11826/tesla-cybertruck-owner-straps-gas-powered-generator-truck-bed-creates-first-hybrid-tesla He says “For all the non-believers. People who don’t understand the science. There she is, charging out in the middle of the woods in the middle of nowhere. Yeah, it’s going to take a long time, but it’ll be charged by tomorrow morning.”
