    I love all of these too, especially the Karen Kay Buckley scissors!

    I have several of those Fiskars scissors for Applique and snip threads. I have them at every machine and my travel kit. I hang a pair on my neck when I see.

    Just an add on - I have appliquéd for years, connecting with Sue Spurge and wool appliqué in early 2000's. I have never found pins as good as the Karen Kay Buckley 'Perfect Pins' both sizes... most of my cotton appliqué is with batik fabrics - the pins are wonderful! They bend fairly easy - like curve, but they are easy to bend back. I'm about 5 years in and I've only had to throw a couple out due to burrs. I also use the Fiskars scissors - mostly because if I fly they can come with me and also because I don't mind cutting freezer paper with them.

    Really enjoyed this, I also love the Clove hot pressing tool. It was interesting to see how you improvised with the manila folder, great idea.

    Hi! Just found your channel and love your ideas. Thank you for sharing. Would you mind sharing the names and authors of the two books you showed? Both looked interesting. 🙏🏼❤️

      Sorry, I just saw your comment. The first book is Homegrown by Sue Spargo. (you can purchase that from my website.) The second book is the Left Handed Embroiders Companion by Yvette Stanton.

    Freezer paper is not sticking to my wool felt. Would you know why?

    • @westcoastwool
      @westcoastwool  ปีที่แล้ว

      Is your iron hot enough? It should stick if your iron setting is hot. I don’t use wool felt myself. I use felted wool. Felted wool is a woven material….wool felt is not. There is a difference between the two.
