Thanks for all the love here. Had a bit of a shaky feeling concerning this video where i also have to talk . You can download these patches. See the link on top of the comment section.
Hey, no worries. You proven your bass skills more than enough on this channel. (Wish I would be as good as you) But I admit I imagined your voice totally different 😂
Cheers and thank you greatly for sharing and showing us some amazing possibilities with the HX Stomp. Good to hear you and very understandable (you did great!). ((ALSO! That filter sound is amazing!!!)) Thanks from the Pacific NW!
These patches sound great. Im starting to see folks, like Rene, Ian Allison, and Janek, who once they dive in to the HX stomp, they are able to get some crazy amazing sounds.
Yeah, Ian is a master of the HX Stomp. He's really made me want to get one. They seem like an insanely useful tool for recording if nothing else. I imagine the guitar sounds are great too.
I am one who of those who already have been convinced by Ian and Janek... and now Rene is confirming it again. Great sounds, good ideas to cobine. If you buy one, you better plan enough time per day to nuddle around and build preset... 😂😂😂
@@ralf6300 It sure looks like you have to spend a lot of time to get familiar with what many of the "effects" do. Ian demonstrated an OC2 type sound and it was composed of the Boc+ fuzz+chrous, not very obvious, but it sounded great.
That's always been the case with these digital stuff, yes? Presets sounds bad and I always tweak my own. Are people stupid enough to buy these and just presets? lol Turn the knobs and use your ears.
he gives you all the jist you require for most of them - definitely more of a showcase video. I dont need this but seems pretty easy to program based on how we see/hear him use it. No lie unless you don't have the effects he mentions, you probably shouldn't buy this because you have more to learn about programming patches. Stuff is kinda heady tho! But everything he said I would feel comfortable building my own version in Live. So if you have this pedal take the principles he talks about and see what you come up with! only one way to learn.
I think he’s really just doing this to showcase what possible?… Does nobody want to actually actually try and figure stuff out for themselves anymore? They just want somebody else’s patch instantly for them already???
it's great to finally hear your voice, Rene!! i would pay money to get a copy of your patches to use and study. they all sound amazing!!! your playing is just the best! i always love it when you play on the reviews!!
he gives you the fundamentals as a starting point, ez pz I wish I had one of these to mess with rn, but you can use anything as long as you have a harmonizer, octave pedal/plugin, etc.
Awesome tones man! Really inventive use of the momentary option for that extra effect. Great stuff. More of you please and get those tones on a market somewhere!
Ive been on the fence about the HX Stomp for bass lately. I mainly want it for amp and cab sims. I was going to try the Origin Effects BassRig Super Vintage, but now im heavily considering the HX Stomp especially since i would get much much more than just amps and cabs.
Really enjoyed Rene's video though wouldn't want to see Gregor out of a job! (lol). In fact, it might be nice to have Gregor having a quick chat with whichever bass player is in the video, discussing the featured piece of kit.
Would be great :) looking for something small that has all the essentials (tuner, overdrive, chorus at least) for easy plane travel. Always struggling with the luggage and this one looks promising
It's a beautiful machine if you know how to use it; otherwise, it's just another multi-effect. The difference is made by third-party IRS + internal pre or amp.
You can download the Helix Patches here: www.planet-earth-music.de/index.php/component/sppagebuilder/page/16
Awesome! Thx for sharing 🙂
Thanx!👌
KILLER!!!
Awesome man , thanks so much!
I was just about to buy the flax pack with these presets but does anyone know if they will work on hx effects unit please??

These sounds are next level!
These sounds are great and you play great.
Dein Englisch ist wirklich super. 👍👍
Awesome to hear Rene's voice. Always love to hear him jamming.
Very nice to finally hear the voice of one the channel's OG bassists!
Omg we get to hear Renee talk!
Beast of a bass player!!
Rene goes so hard on the bass always. I always get excited when he’s the one doing the demo!
These patches sound great. Im starting to see folks, like Rene, Ian Allison, and Janek, who once they dive in to the HX stomp, they are able to get some crazy amazing sounds.
Ian and Janek's recent videos put me over the edge on getting an HX Stomp.

Not only got some chops, but our guy Rene is a good presenter too! Sehr Gut!
Mein Gott, der Bass in meinem face ;)
i love this format. It would be cool to have bass players come and share their sound.
Love hearing René narrate the video!
That last moog-ish patch is SO good
you talking the sidechain or the dnb one? No lie some of the best synth sounding bass patches I've ever heard.
What a humble and lovely person! Thumbs up!
Are the recipes for these patches available somewhere?

INCREDIBLE sounds Rene! I always feel like you're such a creative and uninhibited player, it's always a joy to see/hear you play! 😎👌❤️
Thank you Rene! Great sounds!! And awesome playing, as usual.
These patches sound soooo good. Utterly amazing and better than isolated pedals made for the same purposes.
Now, that's a GREAT bass video! Thank you for teaching us
Wow, awesome! Are these patches available somewhere or is there any possibility to share them with the community?

Awesome sounds Rene
Would love to buy these patches

Just amazing my friends. I love your bass playing Rene. Thanks.
Yeah man sounded great! Love that synth vibe!❤
Rene is a great bassist and a great Helix tweaker! Awesome!

This was a lot of fun. Very cool. Thanks!
Be an interesting switch around to have all the usual guest bass players be the narrator and Gregor be the silent bass player demoing the stuff!
Any chance of getting these patches? They sound awesome.
Check the comment pinned to the top. The link is in there
he speaks!!!! :D all the love Rene.
Crushing tones man! Thank you!

Is it possible to get a 90s west coast rap sound? I’ve been trying to get that sound for a long time.
Very musical FX rather than the usual noise.
I like the "Filter"! Can you give us your settings ?
Really enjoyed Rene's video though wouldn't want to see Gregor out of a job! (lol). In fact, it might be nice to have Gregor having a quick chat with whichever bass player is in the video, discussing the featured piece of kit.
Yes sir.... Great video 📹 👍🏿 👏🏿
Rene will you consider selling these patches separately? Really digging the drum n bass sound but don’t need the others!
Love our boy Rene. Can we reach out to @fattybassman and have him do a lil showcase of some of his sounds? 🥺
I downloaded the patches. I love them. Do you have any other patches ?

The vocobass is amazing
Could we have a similar video about HX Stomp Metal presets? 😁😁
Ilja is our metal guy, but he's using Kemper
Wow sounds great. Awesome video
Rene the bass gnome sounds nothing like what I expected him to, in the most positive of ways
Nice JV precision!
What bass is this? It’s beautiful and sounds great!
An old Squier PB57 from the 80s. JV or SQ series
@@basstheworldofficialthank you
For the first audio sample - what else blocks do You have there except of Boctaver, a-Ring and Tape echo?
I always imagined Rene having a much deeper voice... I'm in SHOCK
There's probably a preset to fix that...
So use an octaver to his voice 😅
amazing! the filter riff was a bit inspired by Jamiroquai ;-)
OK I’m definitely going to get one of these
SO GOOD!!

Nice stuff ... By the way ... O knew Frank doesn't play Bass 😂.
Chill... Im Just kidding
Renés accent is a lot less obvious than the bald guy. Can't remember his name, it's the son of Frank.
Aladeen.
😢”let's check this out “
I never rated you, dude. My hat is now off. One man d&b unit
Coool ❤❤❤❤
