most of the videos of people that went to dyno only show you how much boost the turbo made, how much power the car produce, how much torque and etc. But this dude has even explained thoroughly about the dyno that is being used up to the calibration of the dyno itself! great job tavarish!

Not only does he say way too much unneeded things, but he says things with utter confidence when it's clear he barely has an understanding of what's going on. In my experience that's usually indicative of something wrong with the person.

Me too. The best thing about this video was he gave me a lesson in engine maps. I actually learned something new rather just watching Just another car video.
I imagine to get the optimum tune, It would be a lot of trial and error with multiple dyno runs after each adjustment to see what results you’d get, until you get over the peak then back it off a bit. And it looks like Eric had to repeat this for every rpm and inlet pressure variable.
Good to see the clutch is holding. Eric did a great job. Can’t wait to see it finished.

The spark doesn't actually "blow out from the forces". What's happening is as the pressure increases in the cylinder more air molecules occupy the space in between the spark gap. Air is a resistor and this increased resistance can keep the spark from firing.

I have a 91 Mr2 Turbo with a JDM 3rd Gen 3SGTE swap. The car is a blast but I'm itching for a turbo upgrade and 400whp goal. What do you recommend for tuning?

@Tony W hPa is from the metric system Pa=N/m² so 1pa = a force of 1N over 1m²

Congrats, Tvarish, on finding a great tuner! Really enjoying these in-depth tuning videos. Other channels like Mighty Car Mods (also awesome) will show the peak numbers after a brief dyno run, but you don't get a sense of the process.

Not at all. Jeremy is an amazing tuner as well. But I didn't have a base map when I was there, and I only had a day with Jeremy, vs. 5 days with Erik. Jeremy also had a really tight schedule, so coming back would have meant waiting a few weeks. They are both awesome at what they do.

I love this car, it’s like the start of everything I dislike how little I see it on his channel but understand. Have to come back to watch this beast still remember when he first got it
The whole series is great, but this particular video is just everything that every tuner dreams about. You build something, so watch it not to get blown or on fire. You predict some dreamed power. You manage your expectations. You see it works fine. And when you finally get some numbers, you multiply that with some factor and say the bigger number to everyone. Just love it! I adore this project! Respect with everything, and good luck with the next things ;)

Thats why Jeremy gets flown around the planet to tune, and if you ask tuning companies/ECU manufacturers that you want something better than what he gave you, you'll get 'Good Luck.' In respect to chevrolet platforms of course, but I'm sure if he started doing more than chevy's, he'd own the competition.

Very nice progress, if you think that when he got the car, it wouldn't go in to gear and the engine died above 2000 RPM. And it's very difficult to make a used and highly modified car perform good again. Especially this one, which was poorly reassembled after the fire.

Why? Mustang and dynapak numbers are always much more accurate than Dynojet. Anything load based is going to have much tighter margins and closer repeatability... Inertia bass Dyna Jets or just for bragging rights. Mustang and dynapak or much closer to the results you would expect from timing runs at a drag strip and doing the actual math - which is the best way to determine horsepower. Cleetus is cool, but why bother with the dyno there when you have this guy and a much better Dyno to use.
