I just love the that opening minute with the flutes.
I saw this live. The recording is great, but it will never beat feeling the bass in the gut in the actual concert hall.

The Orchestra was "born" on the 28th of October 1925. Add 100 to 1925..........OMG 2025 is next year. Knowing DR (I am a Dane), I believe we can expect something big next year. DR usually don't waste a big celebration.

Epic Mandalorian theme. Ludwig Göransson , the Swedish musical talented composer of the series needs his credits for that epic theme composition. In the trail of John Williams .The series slays .
From this same event, they do the theme from Gravity, starring some of our favorite vocalists.
I love the DNO because they're great as a symphonic orchestra and never afraid to spin pop culture music and work it as GREAT MUSICIANS !. I'm French, grandson of classical Spanish conductors ( and not having even a speck of musical ability! ) and wish we were so open ! Keep it up !
The DR1 (and National) Symphony Orchestra is the Danish equivalent to the English BBC1 Symphony Orchestra, so it's top-quality public service, and if you make a deeper dive, you will also find that they have the same kind of high production standards to make children like this kind of symphony orchestra music for educational purpose to "nurture" their development. Btw the "This is the way" narrator at the very start is David Bateson. He is mainly known for being the voice and face of Agent 47 in the Danish produced game series Hitman. Bateson was born in South Africa but has lived permanently in Denmark since 1992, working as a narrator in lots of Danish TV series and movies, besides his work as Agent 47. So, the DR1 (and National) Symphony Orchestra also make use of him and his skills as narrator, like in this and many other cases.
@@agffans5725 Very informative, thank you ! I love that such talented classical musicians are open to "pop" music. I discovered this trend with Night of the Proms and always find this interesting. Then again when I think about it Classical was Pop before approximately a century and a half ago so it was bound to happen :) !

The Mandalorian Score was NOT composed by the great John Williams. The score was written by Ludwig Göransson, a swedish composer. (see Wikipedia).
You should watch the video junior, she actually states that more than once (like 6:10). Now say you're sorry for being slow, be a big boy and apologize.

I notice that the conductor is same person who also conducted the original Galaxymphony. I learned about the Danish National Symphony Orchestra when I stumbled across their rendition of the Cantina Band, with Anders Banke as saxophone soloist: th-cam.com/video/CDrWcFGlyKg/w-d-xo.html

Hej Constanza =0) Jag ser att du har reagerat på några Sabaton sånger. En av deras gitarrister....Tommy Johansson...har en egen youtube kanal, där han gör fenomenala covers. Hade varit jättekul om du kunde kolla upp honom =0) Isf hade jag föreslagit " Shes gone" (Steelheart) som en bra start.
This version is good, but in my opinion check the US Army Band version if you havent. Best version yet.
