That was one of the loudest crowd reactions I've ever heard. Close to Beastquake levels. To go from "the season is probably over" 5 minutes into the game, to beating your biggest division rival in walk-off fashion in OT has to be a crazy feeling.

I was there, it’s hard to tell when you are joining in the mayhem. Also this is the tv broadcast, they use compressors to lower crowd noise and you can hear it engage so it was fuckin loud.

This ended almost the same way as the opener in Buffalo in 2002 with a walk off Kick Off return. A punt return is just as exciting! What a gritty win by the Jets!!

The Jets player tried to block leaning in with his shoulder to the Bills defender’s upper body, and the Bills defender tried to dodge/avoid the block. That’s NOT a tripping penalty that they claim the Jets got away with.

Helluva return by Gipson. The patience and vision to let his blockers give him a chance is rare to see from a rookie, looks like he'll be a great returner in the future. Nice tough win by the Jets, I have a feeling their defense and Breece Hall are gonna be carrying them to tough wins like this in the future, assuming Aaron Rodgers is injured long term

Honestly, I still think it's worse to be a Jets fan at this point. Its a disappointing loss for the Bills fanbase, but the Bills are most likely still going to be SB contenders and one of the top teams this year. So its one night of disappointment for you this season.
The Jets haven't had a great QB since Namath. Favre teased the fan base with an 8-3 start, then gets injured, and is one and done with the team, taking the Vikings in the following years to the NFC championship. 15 years later, still QB starved, the Jets trade for Rodgers, get all pumped up for a possible SB run, and Rodgers goes down for the season in the first series. They get the win tonight as a consolation prize for what should have been a season where they got to compete for the SB. Now they're back to essentially the same team that went 7-10 last year and missed the playoffs for god knows how many seasons in a row.
The Jets are beyond cursed.
