So far it's Roar Ceramic Coating. Quick and easy and extremely fast cure time.

Use ACID foams or Shampoo to recover "almost dead" coating.

Can I use Montana Original Tri-Angle Boars Hair Car Wash Brush to wash my car.
You can if you want...But i don't recommend any type of brushes for washing. Only soft microfiber wash mitts, especially for coated vehicles.
Do you charge to re coat the passenger side ?
Yes. Because it was in an accident and part of the insurance claim I do charge to re polish and coat those panels.
Non ceramic... Meguiars Paint Coating is so easy to use. Testing it on a car. Coated car in Aug 22. Will see how it does through a Chicago winter.
I've put it on my friend's truck twice and he loves it.

@529 Detailing - It went over the year mark with plenty to go.
Yes, I polished with Optimum Hyper Polish before recoating.

I did do half the hood in Cquartz UK 3.0 (two layers) + Gliss. They look so similar, but the Meguiar's was so much less work.

My favorite coating is diamond body 36 from diamond pro tech. I’ve had tremendous success on door jambs just using a Maxshine wool finger mitt in my rinseless wash bucket

My favorite coating is Phoenix EOD Kronos on my black Toyota Camry daily driver. Maintenance washes is a must.
What would ya do if the coating did fail brother ? 6 months or a year after application ?
So usually if a coating failed it means it wasn’t cared for properly. Not washed often, strong soaps or cleaner were used or it was taken through a car wash to many times. It’s most often the customer that didn’t care for it. To find that out you have to ask all those questions. If the coating actually failed on its own, which is very hard to prove, I would just re coat it for free.

I’ve been thinking about something , if we get coatings clogged with minerals , etc and have to use a water spot remover at times , would a customer using regular tap water to clean their cars at home clog it faster too ? Seeing as it’s not DI and loaded with minerals ? What’s your thoughts on that?
I've tried Crystal Serum Light, Carpro Cquartz, Evo v4, and Avlon King 9. So far, I like CSL. I've had the AvalonKing 9 fail on me after 6 months. I use Carpro Descale and Lift for decon wash. I like them both. Hi wife!

Possibly all of the above. Sometimes a ceramic polish to clean and rejuvenate the coating is needed.

I've had mixed results with Avalon King, 3 out of 4 vehicles held up really well, and my own truck lost the hydrophobics after about 6 months. You could tell the coating was still there, but it had weakened considerably. Once my supply is used up, I may switch to something else. Happy New Year, Phil and Jess!
I've noticed an inability to de-clog the lower half of the wife's car that I coated. The one thing I've done so far that did seem to help revive it and clean it, was several foam/soak/hand wash it with Turtle Wax Max Power mixed to its weakest ratio in my foam cannon. I think it was 3 passes and the coating started performing much better. I was experimenting to see how many it might take, and was willing to risk killing the coating anyways. The car's been coated for 2 years now (neither of us have a daily commute any longer, so it's garaged kept) and is coming up on possibly benefiting a light polish and recoat.
@@johnhufnagel That's what I experienced as well, the lower half seemed to get clogged. I did a decon with an iron remover, and it helped a bit. I'm in the same boat, the vehicle is coming up on 2 years anyway, so chances are it will be polished and re-coated this spring.

So the customer had auto body done and you re polished and re coated the side? Any advice on how do you price a service like that accordingly, haven’t had that situation come up yet
Hi. Yes so the passenger side doors and fender I believe had been re-painted...almost half the vehicle. so I charged about half the price of the original coating service.
