I can completely relate to this as someone with bpd and adhd. Especially that sudden switch. I get it constantly in my current 6 uear relationship and really had to learn not to act on how I was feeling and do lasting damage, but it's as if they might be a different person sometimes with the way you see them. I get the same thing with how I view myself too, it's called 'splitting'. Listening to your videos really helped me to focus today, thank you!❤
Thank you for sharing. I really feel this. I think it’s important we acknowledge that we recognise our actions and are consciously aware and trying to rectify them. The right person will stick by our sides 😌
Hey Sian Thanks for making your ADHD videos they helped me a lot. Dont stress too much about things you cant control, a job will come, a new partner will come... hopefully who will be on the same wavelength 😊
Yeah I definitely compared myself and just thought I was broken for a long time, I'm way stronger now I've come out of the other side but it's not ideal. It's also not the other person's fault and I'm sure they feel incredibly helpless sometimes too.
I think that many women with adhd have the same experience as you. I hope it gets better for you now that you know and are having treatment. Unfortunately it’s hard to get adhd specific nhs psychotherapeutic treatment.
It definitely has a massive impact on mine too and I think because I didn't have it in check for most of my relationships it negatively impacted them. I think with awareness and some coping tools, we can hopefully flip that around 😌

Ah, thank you, I believe the diagnosis and therapy have already hugely increased my ability to have a successful relationship.
At the time of this video being made, were you on Elvanse?
Hello, nope, unmedicated currently :)
ADHD ruins my relationships 😒 lol apparently I don't give enough attention to my partner(s) 🙃
