Exelent explanation Thank you
We are glad you found it helpful!
There are a lot of thermistor s located in different places
Ambient thermistor, defrost thermistor, evaporator thermistor and so on
Are they interchangeable?
You don't mention the trouble
Is it ice built up on evaporator?
Can we use any Samsung thermistor as long as temperature vs resistance is according to the chart you have mentioned before?
Very good video.
Thanks! Glad you found it helpful!
Super sir
Hello, the ohms to 28 C.?

IT HAS A TIMER PCB.. WHICH IS CONTINUOUSLY LIGHT BLINKING AND COMPRESSOR RUNNING BUT AFTER 40-45 MINITS HEATER WILL ON AND COMPRESSOR IS GOING OFF.
What are the resistance values for 25C, 3C, and -18C when they are new? and what would be a "not working" resistance value?
We have a video on testing the temperature sensor that shows the resistance values here: th-cam.com/video/J5bwcteeJNM/w-d-xo.html

If I had a bad sensor, what kind of problem would my freezer have? My freezer will not hold the set temperature, it keeps fluctuating.
If the defrost sensor fails, the evaporator coil will not going through the automatic defrost cycle properly and the freezer will not cool properly.
DA47-00460E? Do you still have these or what can be used as a replacement
This is a special order part that we do not currently keep in stock. You can order it from our website and it would take us 3-4 weeks to receive it in from the manufacture before it would ship to you. partsdr.com/part/SAMDA47-00460E
I used my oscillating saw, made 2 parallel cuts about 1 inch long in the direction of wire in my case looking at the front of the fridge, the cuts are to the right.
the thermoplastic/vinyl liner peels off like rubber and returns to original position later. I spliced the wires, taped them with electrical tape, snapped the original cover
back into place and my fridge went back to normal. It would have been a 2K waste if I had to throw away my fridge..
Nice! Thanks for sharing!
