It's the time where you have the opposing goals, during the act people hop on ranked to grind, at the end you have the last minute grinders who are desperate to rank up, and the people who are hopping on to have fun and try new stuff. Makes for a bad mix
Dependance on ir mindest if u just try and Keeper on Trieng ur best and just ignore teamates that wont give a shit ypu can peak pretty easily aß the average skill/impact is lower
im so glad i got lucky and ranked up to diamond right before the act ended (ive been stuck in gold for an entire episode and i hit plat 1 week before hitting diamond aka 1 week before the end of the episode)
Prime time for smurf's to grind on their alt as well. i played 5 or smth games and the first few had atleast one very sus player. Sus according to their tracker history.
I don't use Tracker so I wouldn't know, but back when I started and was still in Bronze and Silver I definitely came across a few players who were throwing on purpose to get their smurf accounts up and running. I always avoid queuing the last few days of the act for sure.

I want to clarify that this was a few acts ago, so make of that what you will. I think the current Gold - Plat lobbies are much better given the recent reset. Episode resets always create the toughest lobbies because people get placed where they should be imo

i think it also has to do with people tryharding and trying to push ranks combined with the not giving a fuck attitude (mostly my team) that contributed to our defeat. just hated it tbh worst time to queue fr
1000%, people who had a goal in mind and haven't gotten there yet are playing with the only goal of winning, so the moment things start going wrong mental goes out the window a lot faster. But then you got the players who know the act is ending so they're being more lenient with their plays and allowing for more "bad plays" which pisses off other players who might be taking it too seriously.
None taken, honestly my aim has fallen off greatly from what it used to be, can’t play as much as I use too so my aim is usually pretty inconsistent. Still want to hit Diamond at some point, before that I’ll def be hitting Aim Labs leading up to that push.

You're right they weren't, the point I was trying to get across that because I got so defensive during the match I also chalked things up for my team. Because we were going at each other we ultimately ended up throwing the game away. But the end of the act is when people are the most emotional, so you're bound to get defensive.
