Very good video, Paul, on your demonstration of the Chameleon OCF Dipole. What might help you get that winder a bit higher is to take an old golf ball with a hook screwed into it, then attach the ball on a short string. I use one to boost my antennae into higher areas of trees. Works quite well for me. Thanks for sharing the countryside too. Lovely time of year.

Use a lightweight arborist throw bag to get the rope over the tree limb. The line winder is likely to get caught up in the tree and lost.

That thin RG316 cable and tiny transformer must be very lossy. That's probably why you're seeing so low SWR across the whole spectrum.
I don't think you understand how that antenna and/or the RG316 feed-line work!
@@Chameleon_Antenna He understands very well how it works, so do I - and so do you. His comment perfectly sums up the effect of such a lossy coax on such an antenna, and you know it. Using such lossy coax is often the only way to get such an antenna to have a low enough VSWR on multiple bands, e.g. on the 17m and 12m bands, in addition to the "standard" 40m/20m/10m bands. And you know this - without such lossy coax, you wouldn't have a product. Don't worry, though, you're not the only ones out there selling such antennas, and there are enough gullible people ready to buy them - those for whom a low VSWR is *_everything_* . Nice bag, though...

Get a Reliance Antenna instead. Just as portable but half the price. You can paint it tan if you really need to :P
