- We got a call on our helpline that an emaciated and sick street dog was lying in sewage in a gutter and couldn't get out. We found him lying in the filthy water with flies swarming around his eyes. He was skeletal and so weak he seemed unaware and unable to react to his surroundings. We urgently brought him back to Animal Aid's hospital and began our effort to stabilize him in hopes that he would recover.

I can't imagine the extent of kindness the volunteer showed while lifting the dog from sewage with bare hands....He never used a gloves or mask.......I can't define the extent of kindness these people have shown that I am forced to believe that humanity still exists in earth...These people are like holy angels on earth.....I Bow to you all for your selfless service to stray animals.

Wow this is one of the most shocking rescues, in most shelters this dog would have been euthanized immediately. So great to see his personality come back and for him to be able to live his life
It seems they have a lot more street animals there because of this non euthanasia mindset, but I really appreciate that they don't just put them down :,)

Animals are certainly not respected in India - you only need to go and see for yourself. This charity does what it can, bless them. Please don't be fooled into believing its the norm because it most definitely isn't. Check out any animal charity there and you will see that the most cruelty is probably in India.

This is about us as humanity, we have been blessed by universe with intelligence, and language to communicate.
We humans have capability to express our thoughts, emotions, and feelings clearly through words.
And it is our duty, as Humans, to help other suffering living beings on this planet, be it a dying dog, or cat, or any other animal.
We humans are the ones who have the power to save lives, and we should be thankful for it.
We are the hope for this planet, and we are the ones who decide it's future.
Let's all take time out of our day to do some good deeds, it may be small, or big, but it should be our duty to help.

I strongly agree, there aren’t very many of us though. There are allot of heartless people out there that don’t care about animals. I rescued a puppy a few days ago. Saved his life and went through surgery. Now I own him and named him Ares because he is a strong warrior.
