    Thanks a lot.
    How can I make sure that contract manufacturers won’t steal my formula? When they make my products will they be legal registered products? What contract manufacturers do you recommend that are the most trusted ones?
    Sorry for all those questions but they’re really important to me. Thanks again

    • @theinstituteofpersonalcare6401
      @theinstituteofpersonalcare6401  5 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Hi Sara, different contract manufacturers are best for different reasons e.g. batch size and what packaging they can fill in to, as well as cost. Cheap doesn't mean the best choice. Make sure they provide you with a confidentiality agreement to protect your formula - if they ever copy it you have that document to take legal action. Hope this helps!

    Great video. Is it ever possible to start big? Any success stories? What are the common reasons why some brands fail?

    • @theinstituteofpersonalcare6401
      @theinstituteofpersonalcare6401  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      The number 1 reason brands fail is that they fail to have a significant point of difference in their product for their target market (and/or fail to promote it effectively). It starts with the point of difference, and then all other factors run from there e.g. pricing and promoting it right, and of course, making sure it is a great formula that actually works. You will enjoy this workshop series, first VERY informative video on this topic is free! Watch here: personalcarescience.com.au/BrandManagement/CosmeticBrandBusinessWorkshops-482/ The bigger you want to start, the better your point of difference needs to be, with a suitably large marketing budget.

    I think my main struggle is the fragrance - most fragrance oils are weak and proper suppliers only do 25kg quantity. There is no way to smell different varieties, just buying blind and then not liking the fragrance so waste of money. I am trying to find nice fragrances for hair products as I guess no one wants their hair to smell like a lotion or candle lol

      Hi Gracie, please try the websites of these suppliers, there are multiple choices in small quantities here with plenty of impact aromas; createcosmeticformulas.com/IngredientSuppliers/IngredientSuppliers-897/ This list covers most countries in the world so there is bound to be one able to supply to you. Happy formulating!

    Is that possible to mask the mask out of fresh fruit and vegetables and you can store for 6 months.
    Thanks so much

    • @theinstituteofpersonalcare6401
      @theinstituteofpersonalcare6401  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You'd need to preserve it extremely well and also check things like pH etc - also how are you going to make it feel nice? A small input of fresh fruit/vegetables (mashed) could work but there are then other formulating considerations you'd need to make.
