I struggle to understand the size argument. If that's the main reason a bottle does not get recycled we're simply not doing our best.

It's up to us and the media to pressure the politicians, but it's up to the politicians to legislate to make the big companies lessen their ecological impact.

You reeeaaaaally want to tell me that you can't recycle black bottles because you can only mix it with black???? Guess what: you have so much waste, you have enough black bottles for making more black ones!!! There are lasers on the market which recognize colours you can build in your mashines. Denmark, Germany, Finland,... they all have them.
Or mix all the colours together to make brown bottles. And yes, sustainable people WILL buy them if you can say that they're made out of 100% recycled plastic.
And you really can only recycle bottles which are bigger than 1000ml???? What the heck!!! They are falling through the nets? Than make them smaller!!!!

That plastic tube isn’t not recycled because of the size! 1 they didn’t separate the lid and the tube 2 probably didn’t rinse the tube 3 its just a harder plastic to recycle. Not the size at all.
