Ok, gonna comment here because I'm rlly tired of this. PLEASE READ BEFORE SAYING ABOUT THE SONG CHANGE. I've talked to native americans about the previous song "Savage Daughter". They love the song and like the map/didn't see any problem with it. While the original song was meant to represent another culture, it is used by other people (including native americans) because it is still a empowerment song, as stated by the author. However, I changed to be safe. Someone had come to my dms when the map was out and said to change it, since the word "savage" could be interpreted in the racist way AND there is a problematic story with the cover version. They said that if I didnt change, participants could get harassed/dogpilled for it. (They didn't threat me, it was just a warning) Even if the person might had a good intention when they warned me, I ended up getting scared this song could make people unconfortable and the participants could get harassed by this. The previous song is wonderful, so it is this one. So please, respect my decision ^^' I want this MAP to be confortable for everyone, as every MAP should be.

It helps promote and encourage the love of such cultures. You divide and silence those cultures by saying otherwise. I could say this current song is offensive to my culture being of Scandinavian roots/descent, but I am absolutely thrilled and overwhelmingly happy to see my culture be used/represented and given light to finally. I love this song and the fact these animators are actually for once doing something of Scandinavian/Norseman culture to Warriors(thank you so much for this!). It is not offensive. Stop saying it is. It's not, neither was the other song used.
I applied as a backup! This song makes me feel the majestic atmosphere and seriousness of a mother.... I love so much. and I love that it goes well with the concept of the map. Listening to this song softly reminds me of my favorite flower, the Trumpet Creeper. Trumpet Creeper is my birth flower and one of the flowers I can see closest to where I live.

Honestly I preferred the previous song, I thought it represented the characters better, because in my understanding savage means wild and they're wild cats. But I understand your choice, good luck to all of you who applied.
I also like the previous song better, especially since iirc the Clan cats were called "savage forest cats" or something by one of the kittypet characters at one point. However since the word "savage" has been frequently used both in current times and in the past two dehumanize indigenous people and Black people (among others) and Warrior Cats as a series has engaged in a number of anti-indigenous tropes with the Tribe of Rushing Water subplots... yeah. This song is better for _specifically_ a Warriors map. Maybe the Guardians of Ga'Hoole fandom can do something with the other one? Idk.

I've had my eye on this MAP for a while and figured late is better than never so I'd love to be a backup if I can. I adore this MAP concept and song and the call art and everything. Also my favorite flower (at the moment as my favorites change like the wind) happens to be the rafflesia arnoldii, mostly due to the bizarre video that introduced me to them. I find them super interesting.
