Good morning y’all! (/day/night depending on timeszone)
You might’ve seen it but literally in less then 24 hours we’ve hit over 200 applicants!! Ahh!!
Because It doesn’t seem like I need to keep these open for a whole week like I thought, I’ve decided I will close applications early so I can give myself time to pick parts!
Apps will now close on *MONDAY OR TUESDAY* the 1st or the 2nd of January, and I will shoot to have parts selected around the 5th or that weekend!!
If you need to get an application in OR send a new one, make sure you do it before the weekend ends!
And thank y’all SO SO MUCH for all the interest on this project!! It’s unreal!!

Hello guys! I've been thrilled to finally post this project since I first thought it up almost a year ago now. Finally I get to release it to the world and share my brain child with all of you! I hope you consider applying.
Everything you need to know about the MAP itself is bellow, but if you want to know a bit about the AU......
WOE TO JUSTICE is the first part of a (hopeful) series, a warriors AU I've dubbed "The Great and Noble Tigerstar" that focuses on one thing: What if Tigerstar never became a villain?
From birth Thunderclan's paranoid healer Goosefeather had seen evil in young Tigerkit, insisting to his father that if he was not killed he would inevitably destroy the clans. Tiger's life would be set on a bad path from the start after his father abandoned his clan and family in fear of the prophecy. To make things worse he was assigned to Thistleclaw, a wicked and ambitious mentor who shaped Tigerpaw in his image.
Spending countless moons as an aggressive and callous warrior, Tigerclaw believes he's destined for greatness, only to have it be ripped away as the optimistic Redtail becomes deputy over him. Driven by violent envy, Tigerclaw has an opportunity to kill the new deputy at the battle of the sunningrocks...
But is it too late to change his destiny?
This MAP is open to anyone who wants to apply and I do mean anyone! There's even some parts in here made for beginners or more illustration focused artists, you should check them out ;)
I will be trying to pick parts in about a week, January 5th! Though I may close them sooner or do a first round of picking depending on how many people apply, I hope to see you there!

dude, can i just say i am LOVING how you formatted the script, highlighting which parts are better for beginners and what parts your looking for more experience in. i love that, it feels like i see so many host that just refuse to let any people still learning into their maps it makes me a little sad. will be thinking about applying!

wow i really like this au map i never thought tigerclaw would back up like that i really wanted to take a part in this map but when i look at the rules the youngest age to join the map was 13 and unfortunatly im under 13 but i really wonder how will this turn out 🤩

Even the storyboard really does tell the story well. I enjoy the amount of examination of exactly WHY Tigerstar became what he did and how the canon accidentally gave us a very valid idea that he was pushed to it by the adults around him.

i freakin adore this idea, i’ve always loved to play with the idea of tigerstar never becoming evil due to different circumstances or him being a good person, despite his circumstances..

This was so marvelous to watch, and absolutely well thought out. I love the idea of Tigerstar taking a different route, one not of his prophesized path per Goose. happily applied. also the script, designs, and song choice are SOOO GOOD.

Help, this made me tear up XD this is really well thought out, and I like how at the end where he hesitates and stops in killing redtail and the path he *could* have led, he runs and gets overwhelmed, like he was scared of what he would’ve become.

man I LOVE this storyboard! I love this idea, too. Good!Tigerclaw aus are fun, but this one mixes a "Good" AU with a redemption arc. Tigerclaw still needs to make amends with the darker parts of himself, and still must face the consequences of attacking Redtail. Sure he didn't go through with it, but he just lost a lot of trust and respect from his entire clan. From his ambitious stand-point, Tigerclaw just ruined *everything* for himself.
I wish I were at least even half-decent at animation, I'd love to help on a project like this. I'm equally happy supporting it and watching the awesome map parts that will soon come out!

You could probably do a sequel with ‘take him away’ also by dirt poor robins, from scourge’s POV of tigerclaw’s change since obviously this AU would see a lot change 👀

Ohoh i adore this MAP concept. I love how you didnt completely change Tigerclaw's personality in order to make him more "sympathetic" or the like, he still kinda sucks, hes just not, y'know, evil.

tigerstar was my favourite cat since the first book. the way i imagined him in my head was so menacing and i remember the scene in the first book where fireheart is standing vigil after his warrior ceremony and he sees tiger's eyes glaring at him from the shadows - that scene and the way i imagined it is imprinted in my brain. he was my favourite villain that i LOVED to hate but i always thought that if he had better morals and he was a better cat, he literally would have far surpassed firestar in his leadership. im sorry but if tigerstar became leader and was a good person, he would have been the best leader thunderclan had ever had since thunderstar. PERIOD. ravenpaw would have become one of the best warriors in the clan and for some reason i can imagine fireheart would have looked up to tigerstar a crap ton if things were different. this AU matches my own AU so closely, it makes me so happy to see him getting some love.

I believe that this au will be better than the canon one because one thing is that usually fan aus are better than the canon ones!
Question but why is dustpaw, redtails apprentice, apart of tigerclaws little group? Why not longtail instead?
So Longtail IS apart of their group it’s why he features in the second half, I just forgot him in the first part and didnt notice till it was a little too far down the line TmT it’s an optional thing in the script that whoever has those parts can squeeze him in there, but it’s up to them it they will.
Dustpaw was a similar issue: When I was doing my research/refresher all I saw was “Dustpelt was Darkstripe’s apprentice” and no where was it included that it was only /after/ Redtail died at the start of the books and then he got moved to Darkstripe, and it’s been /ages/ since I read the books myself TwT so unfortunately it was a lack of clear info online but the time I found the error it was long long after he was designed, the map was scripted, and the boards were done and I just didn’t feel like it was a big enough mistake to redo things over.
Instead the way I’m choosing to interpret it for this map: Dustpaw was a rebellious Teen who wanted to hang out with the “cool, badass cats” and not “lame, happy go lucky” Redtail. Sorta like a kid in highschool who thinks his teacher is lame and had wished he got into the “cooler teachers” class instead.
I actually plan in the credits to kinda acknowledge this error and show Dust IS Redtail’s apprentice, it was just an error on my part o7

OMG HELP- I have been waiting for a map that has planned him to be good eventually with the events that have happened in his past. HOW DIDNT I SEE THIS BEFORE? The song FITTED so well and the script and board are so well done! Absolutely loving on this au so so much, applied for backup! ^^

I don't remember which book it was, it was one of those with various stories from various clans (I think it was Dawn of the Clans), but in one of the stories Tigerkit gets saved from a fox by a ShadowClan patrol, to which he responds saying that he wants to be leader so he could help other cats like those cats helped him. And this reminded me of that. I wonder what would've happened if he'd went through with his plan, of being leader so that he could help others better.

I also really like the entire vibe of the MAP - it feels very welcoming and not at all stressful, and it's really awesome that you create spaces especially for beginners. This leaves SO MUCH ROOM for good details and interesting plot lines. I love it when characters deny their surroundings and rise above the expectations set for them (even by themselves!)
I want to see Tigerstar as a happy father, a leader who struggles with his thoughts and uprising; and maybe even a protector of those smaller than him.

Dude this is a really cool MAP you have planned out! I love the expressions in your storyboard and the artist choices of color and generally how you tell the story here! As someone who loves organization, I'm also just really pleased by how organized you have your part list broken down into different stages of WIP, sketch, line, color ect. It makes it feel really put together. Count me in, I just applied!
