OH MY GOSH every aspect of this is amazing! I absolutely love your artstyle! It’s so unique- I don’t see styles like this in animation much at all! You draw them super expressively. I love the way they go from cute and cartoony to darker and more detailed with more shading when they’re feeling a certain way. The artstyle changes during some points of the video add so much emotion, and I love it! The little comic-book style dots are an amazing addition to the style as well. The backgrounds are absolutely beautiful. They have a lot of detail, and compliment the characters so well! I absolutely love the way you draw each and every detail in this video, everything is just so pleasing to look at! The animation and storytelling is incredible, too! The animation matches the song and lyrics so well, and it’s incredibly well timed. I can’t imagine how long this animation must’ve taken, every drawing has a lot of detail and is animated really fluidly. The storytelling is incredible, too! I especially love how when Mapleshade turns her back at 2:32 you can see the gash in the back of her neck. And the way the brown in her design turns to purple when she’s a ghost is so smart and looks very nice! I love the recurring dance that Maple does at 0:26. It’s so expressive and the way it sometimes changes throughout the video as the story goes on is so smart! Every scene in this video was really recognizable and it was easy to tell what was going on. Mapleshade’s emotions and states of mind are so well expressed throughout, as well! It’s really clear to see how she changes as a character. All in all, this is an absolutely amazing Mapleshade PMV and one of my favorites! It’s such a nice take on the character and the story that subverted my expectations in the best way possible! The character designs, storytelling, and drawing style/animation are top-notch. You’re extremely talented and underrated. New sub! ❤️✨

Genuinely one of my favorite Mapleshade MVs because of how goofy and bouncy it is while still telling such a brutal story!! Like. It is expressive and cute and silly and also The Horrors. I think the visible quirks of Flipaclip's editing really add to the charm of this MV too, with the frame by frame movement and transitions!
can I tell you a story of an oc I made? white;feather was born to pine;heart, his father, and petal;wing, his mother. he was rejected by petal;wing regardless, shortly after he was born. he was mentorless due to his mother having to choose his mentor, and she chose none, because she thought any of the clan would be “sacred” to be his mentor. he was “exiled” by his own mother for 20 moons to be stranded because of her killing hippo;star, the leader at the time, and so-called “going” to the moonstone and receiving her 9 lives even though she TRULY didn’t even want to get off the highstump (which means white;feather’s family/clanmates are all riverclan cats) and take care of the camp. pine;heart didn’t think this was fair though, so he left the clan for a while to find his son so they can take down petal;wing’s role as the clan leader for a while until white;paw became lost and found some rouges, who taught him to be evil and kill his father. he came back to riverclan after gaining his evil abilities so he could kill his family, even the whole clan, and gain a role for leadership until his remaining clanmates surrendered. after he returned, he slowly remembered that the rouges taught him ONE specific rule: “sneak up on the cat like prey, then…LUNGE and go for the throat!”. so he did. his first target was a patrol. he grabbed a small shecat with blue eyes and orange, brown and black fur named “fern;fish” and nearly mauled off her shoulder fur, ripping out some blood. and then he threw her on the thunderpath where she got hit by a twoleg monster and died brutally. then, he found a kit named slice;kit with blueish grey fur and a sandy grey spot around her eye with blue eyes. so he grabbed the kit, took her from the camp, and threw her down the gorge where she fell to her death and drowned. his next target was his father, but that wasn’t easy…pine;heart immediately recognized him, it was white;feather, his son! though he was brutally wounded by white;feather, he survived and was made deputy to the clan leader, autumn;star, a brown-and-orange shecat with amber eyes and broad shoulders with a mottle-like pattern + white on the tips of her paws. he hissed at pine;heart, re-joining the clan otherwise. he knew his father was trying to say sorry for letting him down all those moons ago, but he didn’t care. he had learned better than to apologize to his father instead of attempting to kill him. he snuck up to the leader, attempting to kill, but she knew exactly what was going to happen to her. and than, a few moons later, they fell in love, and they had a kit named “magpie;kit”. after magpie;fur grew up a little and became “magpie;fur,” her mother died due to being killed by pine;heart to “save her life” from white;feather. he knew that white;feather’s evil was too much for pretty much ANY shecat to handle. so he decided to go to the moonstone after choosing his deputy, frost;wind, a silver shecat with brown stripes and green eyes, and went to the moonstone while tree;trot would watch over the clan for him while he’s there. but white;feather snuck in on the receiving of his father’s lives. so he waited up top of the moonstone to strike, and kill his own father for GOOD in vengeance for his mate’s death. but after that, he realized he was wrong to kill his clanmates, and decided to become a medicine cat. yeah, this PMV reminds me of him. white;feather is a black-and-white Tom with blue eyes and one blind eye due to intense scarring when he was a kit. pine;heart is a black Tom with cyan eyes and a shoulder, cheek and lower torso scar with a nick in his ear. petal;wing is a brown, black and white shecat with green eyes and slick, smooth fur. hippo;star is a mucky-brown Tom with blue eyes and a scar on his forehead and left cheek. magpie;fur is a white-and-black shecat with rare lavender eyes and 9 scars on her right eye, but her pupil is just what makes her look blind in that eye.

OH MY GOSH every aspect of this is amazing! I absolutely love your artstyle! It’s so unique- I don’t see styles like this in animation much at all! You draw them super expressively. I love the way they go from cute and cartoony to darker and more detailed with more shading when they’re feeling a certain way. The artstyle changes during some points of the video add so much emotion, and I love it! The little comic-book style dots are an amazing addition to the style as well. The backgrounds are absolutely beautiful. They have a lot of detail, and compliment the characters so well! I absolutely love the way you draw each and every detail in this video, everything is just so pleasing to look at!
The animation and storytelling is incredible, too! The animation matches the song and lyrics so well, and it’s incredibly well timed. I can’t imagine how long this animation must’ve taken, every drawing has a lot of detail and is animated really fluidly. The storytelling is incredible, too! I especially love how when Mapleshade turns her back at 2:32 you can see the gash in the back of her neck. And the way the brown in her design turns to purple when she’s a ghost is so smart and looks very nice! I love the recurring dance that Maple does at 0:26. It’s so expressive and the way it sometimes changes throughout the video as the story goes on is so smart! Every scene in this video was really recognizable and it was easy to tell what was going on. Mapleshade’s emotions and states of mind are so well expressed throughout, as well! It’s really clear to see how she changes as a character.
All in all, this is an absolutely amazing Mapleshade PMV and one of my favorites! It’s such a nice take on the character and the story that subverted my expectations in the best way possible! The character designs, storytelling, and drawing style/animation are top-notch.

Genuinely one of my favorite Mapleshade MVs because of how goofy and bouncy it is while still telling such a brutal story!! Like. It is expressive and cute and silly and also The Horrors. I think the visible quirks of Flipaclip's editing really add to the charm of this MV too, with the frame by frame movement and transitions!

white;feather was born to pine;heart, his father, and petal;wing, his mother. he was rejected by petal;wing regardless, shortly after he was born. he was mentorless due to his mother having to choose his mentor, and she chose none, because she thought any of the clan would be “sacred” to be his mentor. he was “exiled” by his own mother for 20 moons to be stranded because of her killing hippo;star, the leader at the time, and so-called “going” to the moonstone and receiving her 9 lives even though she TRULY didn’t even want to get off the highstump (which means white;feather’s family/clanmates are all riverclan cats) and take care of the camp. pine;heart didn’t think this was fair though, so he left the clan for a while to find his son so they can take down petal;wing’s role as the clan leader for a while until white;paw became lost and found some rouges, who taught him to be evil and kill his father. he came back to riverclan after gaining his evil abilities so he could kill his family, even the whole clan, and gain a role for leadership until his remaining clanmates surrendered. after he returned, he slowly remembered that the rouges taught him ONE specific rule: “sneak up on the cat like prey, then…LUNGE and go for the throat!”. so he did. his first target was a patrol. he grabbed a small shecat with blue eyes and orange, brown and black fur named “fern;fish” and nearly mauled off her shoulder fur, ripping out some blood. and then he threw her on the thunderpath where she got hit by a twoleg monster and died brutally. then, he found a kit named slice;kit with blueish grey fur and a sandy grey spot around her eye with blue eyes. so he grabbed the kit, took her from the camp, and threw her down the gorge where she fell to her death and drowned. his next target was his father, but that wasn’t easy…pine;heart immediately recognized him, it was white;feather, his son! though he was brutally wounded by white;feather, he survived and was made deputy to the clan leader, autumn;star, a brown-and-orange shecat with amber eyes and broad shoulders with a mottle-like pattern + white on the tips of her paws. he hissed at pine;heart, re-joining the clan otherwise. he knew his father was trying to say sorry for letting him down all those moons ago, but he didn’t care. he had learned better than to apologize to his father instead of attempting to kill him. he snuck up to the leader, attempting to kill, but she knew exactly what was going to happen to her. and than, a few moons later, they fell in love, and they had a kit named “magpie;kit”. after magpie;fur grew up a little and became “magpie;fur,” her mother died due to being killed by pine;heart to “save her life” from white;feather. he knew that white;feather’s evil was too much for pretty much ANY shecat to handle. so he decided to go to the moonstone after choosing his deputy, frost;wind, a silver shecat with brown stripes and green eyes, and went to the moonstone while tree;trot would watch over the clan for him while he’s there. but white;feather snuck in on the receiving of his father’s lives. so he waited up top of the moonstone to strike, and kill his own father for GOOD in vengeance for his mate’s death. but after that, he realized he was wrong to kill his clanmates, and decided to become a medicine cat. yeah, this PMV reminds me of him.
white;feather is a black-and-white Tom with blue eyes and one blind eye due to intense scarring when he was a kit. pine;heart is a black Tom with cyan eyes and a shoulder, cheek and lower torso scar with a nick in his ear. petal;wing is a brown, black and white shecat with green eyes and slick, smooth fur. hippo;star is a mucky-brown Tom with blue eyes and a scar on his forehead and left cheek. magpie;fur is a white-and-black shecat with rare lavender eyes and 9 scars on her right eye, but her pupil is just what makes her look blind in that eye.
HOLY SHIT THIS STYLE AND ANIMATION AND SONG CHOICE IS SO FUNKY AND AWESOME!!!!!!! I haven't read Mapleshade's arc yet and got most of my information from maps and this filled me in so much.
