Essentially yes. They all work exactly the same. But some heaters have different plugs so it's not always a simple plug and play swap, but any heater can be made to work with any ECU.
I'd guess the 2-minute time limit is probably anti-military use or something, akin to the low-framerates and resolutions in consumer-grade thermal imaging products, but that's just a guess...
That is a thought. But none of the other Chinese made ones have the same limitation. I wouldn't mind if it even just made a new video file every two minutes.

Not quite. The EU forced them to make the port the same as everyone else. In the EU anyway. They fought it hard though.
