In spring (2024) I bought the infiray p2, worked great for months then one day I wanted to test some cable on an inverter, takes photo's great, on screen 'preview' great, will not record video! well ok it records, but i get 4 images 1/4 sized images with incorrect color mapping so the recorded video is useless, an email has gone unanswered so I have had to install a screen recorder app on my phone to record the onscreen preview, works but i get all the icons etc over my recording. th-cam.com/video/hXLxCodJ1ZA/w-d-xo.html
So while your camera is not a Hikmicro it looks physically similar and has the same size sensor. Based on your description of the error I am assuming while you are recording video it looks ok on the screen, it is when you review the footage later it is 1/4 up to the 4 images. if so this does not sound like a camera problem but a software / app problem. have you tried un-installing the app and re-installing it or on a different phone / tablet?
