WHERE TO EAT BIG ISLAND HAWAII FOR BREAKFAST I RECOMMEND 808 GRINDZ. IT'S CHEAP ITS DELICIOUS AND PORTION SIZES ARE GOOD. ACAI BOWLS ALSO MAKE FOR GOOD BREAKFAST. FRENCHMAN'S CAFE SERVES DELICIOUS PASTRY'S FROM CREPES TO CROISSANTS.
MY ABSOLUTE FAVORITE PLACE TO EAT WAS THE COFFEE SHACK. THIS IS ONE OF THE BEST PLACES TO EAT IN HAWAII. THEY HAVE THE BEST LILIKOI CHEESECAKE ON THE PLANET AND THE SANDWICHES ARE FLAVORFUL AND DELICIOUS. IF THATS NOT ENOUGH THE VIEW IS AMAZING FROM ANY SEAT. BIG ISLAND FOOD TOUR WOULD NOT BE COMPLETE WITHOUT A STOP AT THE COFFEE SHACK.
TWO GOOD CHOICES FOR DINNER ARE THE KONA BREWING COMPANY AND PINEAPPLES. WHEN IT COMES TO DINNER THESE ARE THE BEST PLAES TO EAT IN HAWAII. KONA BREWING COMPANY HAS ASSORTMENT OF BEERS ON TAP WITH DELICIOUS TACOS AND PIZZA. AND EVERYTHING FROM PINEAPPLES IS GOOD YOU CANT GO WRONG WITH ANY CHOICE AND THEY HAVE LIVE MUSIC AT NIGHT.

Oh man, so much good looking food... When I finally get to Hawaii, first thing I'm doing is getting an Acai bowl and a Poke bowl! That bowl at Umekes looks awesome. Great that you got to the Kona brewery too, so jealous. Did they have a taster board for beers? Great job with this, I am now really hungry haha
If you are traveling through south Kona I highly recommend Kayas Kawanui coffe house. The kona coffee is the best coffee I've ever had! Amazing food and baked goods! I still strongly crave the breakfast sandwich often!

The last time we visited the big island was 15 years ago in 2004, I don't think TH-cam was even in yet LOL! Oh man, the food looks so good. We will need to make another trip to the Big Island again and try all those foods!!

Big island is one of our absolute favorites so this video was perfect! Been to a lot of these places and they are 💯 amazing. Gonna have to try out a few new ones featured in here on our next trip! Big Mahalo for sharing!!

Good question I don’t really eat crab maybe some in the comments could give a good recommendation I would try fish hopper I’ve had seafood there and it was good not sure if they have crab sorry can’t be more help
You could try checking out Ponds or The Seaside Restaurant and Aqua Farm.
80% wayyy off...Lol try Paulo’s bistro in pahoa, Paul’s place in Hilo... Pam at the farmers market for weird fruit, Suisan or big kta for poke bowels... honestly these kids don’t live here and don’t know. Village burger, ma ona, or ultimate burger.... lechon food truck for ox tail version that broke da mouth... you actually can’t really get real local food outside of aunties house!! The commercial kind is off. But Hilo lunch shop or any of the other bento shops have local treats...
I know what you are saying, but the intended audience is the first time visitor. Except for Kona Inn happy hour, all my favorite spots are local and cheap. Been going to Sandy's Drive In since 1980. Totally agree on kta poke bowls. When on Oahu, Safeway has the best poke.

Why isn’t the Manago Hotel Restaurant ever mentioned? Not trendy enough? Talk about throwback experience and great food. Same food places over and over.
Nice shooting and editing. We've been to the Big Island once. The only restaurant that I remember from that trip was Foster's Kitchen. The rest were pretty average.
