John, thanks for clearly letting your bias for vert juicers show. You're doin' us a favour. Been using my omega vert for a while now. It's like a 30-min morning meditation from prepping the veggies to juicing to clean-up. W-O-R-T-H E-V-E-R-Y M-I-N-U-T-E !! Celery and lemon are my standard bases, plus a bit of garlic and/or ginger just for kicks. You're drinking good medicine for the system. Diabetics, I'm telling y'all now - juicing especially through a slow juicer HELPS!!
The earthbound baby kale greens being used are already triple washed, I personally feel comfortable using them without further washing. In addition, washing may throw off the juice off if excess water remains on some leaves and not others. Of course, if you want to wash your greens that are already triple washed, go for it.
Thanks sooooo much John for all this knowledge and the sharing!!!! I've spent quite of time before I decided for the Omega NC900 which seems to meet my needs the best. I did my purchase at discountjuicers.com like you suggested. I love your dedication to the cause of getting America healthier!!! I so much agree with you. Thanks also for all the tips and advice and your enthusiasm!! So valuable everything you say.
John, can I put pulp back through the Slowstar for higher juice yield, like I can with the Omega?? Your channel has been a huge part in helping me learn and figure out what my first juicer should be
Hey John! I have been having a problem with juicing. I can't seem to keep it from running right through me. I absolutely love to juice but the effects I'm getting are keeping me from leaving the house. Is this common? My diet consists of 90% organic vegetables/fruits and my juice is usually a mixture of; carrot, cucumber, celery, kale, 1 apple, parsley, chard, beet. I'm clueless to why I'm not peeing out the liquid juice as ignorant as that may sound. Any incite would be greatly appreciated.
Hey John, I'm really impressed with the Slowstar Juicer and plan on purchasing one. However, I'm hesitant to buy a first generation machine. How often do companies typically come out with new versions of their juicers? Do you feel that it would be worth while waiting for the second generation machine?

wow that slow star is impressive, what challenge are u gunna do next?
hi John! I am still waiting for your verdict Omegar vrt 400 hds with 70 rpm is still your favorite machine or the new Slowstar with 40 rpm?
Can you do a video on the omega nc800 vs a green star elite with greens and other fruit and veggies all Separate ?
The slowstar has gone thru several revisions and is not truly 1st generation. I doubt Tribest will come out with any major changes to this machine.
Thanks so much for this video!
thats on the list to do... its a long list..
Putting the pulp back thru the nc800 will work ok, putting it back thru the slowstar will not.
