This song brings out a lot of emotions for me. I'm not sure why. It's a sad, happy, bittersweet and warm feeling. I'm not sure who I love or lift higher, or if it's supposed to be me thanking someone or everyone for loving me. A third option is I'm watching someone lift another person higher by loving the other person. It's like parents loving their children, or a husband and wife loving each other or some other kinship. It might be yourself lifting yourself up. It could be society and yourself loving each other. It might be Nietszche's Amor Fati. I'm really not sure.
