Good evening sir, I'm Arup and also fan of your channel. Sir I got a E-Rikshaw Battery charger with Dead Symptom. After check cold test their had PWM CHIP(UTC3842A), SWITCHING MOSFET (12N60), GET CURRENT LIMITING RESISTOR, SOURCE LOAD RESISTOR and RT RESISTOR WAS BLOWNS OUT. From this bad components value I have recovered instead of GET CURRENT LIMITING RESISTOR. After cheking datasheet of PWM CHIP I used the GET CURRENT LIMITING RESISTOR 68 OHM and RT RESISTOR 1K. Where as Other all components was good. After changed all the bad components I had power up by 100watt series lamp. Then problem comming fluctuating. Series lamp also fluctuated. Then I had check all the voltage o/p and opto isolator supply was fluctuated. That's why I had change again opto isolator PC817 and again power up mistakenly direct line. Unfortunately all the bad components again BLOWNS out soon. After all that I had change again all the bad components and this time Power up by the series lamp. Luckily this time problem seen fixed and all the voltage seen good ( O/P, PWM CHIP POWER, OPTO ISOLATOR POWER ). But this time I have seen the somke is come out from some where from the ckt. Due to this reason after power down, I have check again cold test. Then seen Switching FET and it's GET CURRENT LIMITING RESISTOR was over heating. And check also all components primary and secondary site all components was good instead of FET and GET CURRENT LIMITING RESISTOR. After all again power up by series lamp it was seen problem is fixed. But after some time to take a risk I have power up by direct line. But unfortunately this time again also BLOWNS out previous all bad comments. Where as all components over board showing good. One point I have missed to say that here I have used 15N60 MOSFET instead of 12N60. Please help me sir what should I do and what shall be the checking process? To fix the problem. Thank you sir
Nice video sir. Sir if don't mind, if your time permits you. Please do a video about BAV99w series diode with example circuit. There's no video in internet about this ic. Also have doubt about series diodes. Why they are using in circuit. Because the diode cathod placed in possitive supply and another diode anode is placed in negative or gnd. What's use of it. Its really confusion. according to me there's no use. 😂 because cathode doesn't allow postive supply, anode doesn't allow negative supply (gnd) . Why manufacturers are using like this? Thank you sir.

Thx for usefull videos...and a question? I have a toshiba smart tv...when power on there is sound and pic but no backlight. After 10 min working, after shuting down and powering again lights turns on...is the problem in capacitors?
So another case of probable voltage spike. MOV did its job of sacrificing itself by going short circuit and blowing the fuse. The circuit board looks very dirty and covered in sand.
yes MOV secifices and protects the next circuit yes, i got 25 SMPSs of same model from same sender, i think these were stored in junk store without any controlled environment
When I test a good power supply and test smd capacitor in circuit reading is not showing in multimeter but this capacitor is good when I on the power supply.. but why sir this smd capacitor not showing reading in multimeter.
If i have a welder that stats on Max current all the time. Even if i turn the button and the desplay says 5 amps but the welder is going at Max . Do you have any idea WHy. Thank you
please check and replace its operational amplifier (most of time it is CA341 or lm358) on the control card. it is connected imiidiately after current setting potentiometer
Hello Haseeb. I have a pheonix contact industrial smps 24v 10a. The following problem persists. When connected to mains with a series lamp, the lamp glows and doesnt turn off. I did the following inspection. I seperated the primary from the secondary section. Now when connected the lamp glows for a few seconds then goes off. I have stable voltage at main capacitor and vcc capacitor. I reconnected the secondary. Now again the lamp glows but i have stable 24v in output section. What could be the fault. Stable input voltages, all components good, diodes good, stable output voltage, but the series lamp keeps glowing. Could it be the IC or the optocoupler? Please guide.
Hie sir I am Aaron Chipote, from Zimbabwe, working on a powered amplifier (Hybrid 15inch) with an ic TDA7293. Several times I replaced the ic and upon powering on, it blows up. Can you please assist me to replace this ic without blowing up. It has been repaired before and hand blown the main transformer. Ratings (30v 0 30v, 16.7v 0 16.7v and 12v 0)

Some multimeters cannot measure small valued smd capacitors.

If the smd capacitor is burned somewhere and there is no map available, how can we find out its value
I could listen there is hissing noise, is this normal?
