The 1.5uf beige cap looks the same as what found as OME in 70s b&w dm2 and dm4 that I saved from going to the dump, , always find your videos great on many levels , Gave me the backing need in order to restore and save some gems
That large magnet, large dustcap version of the woofer looks unusual, but the chassis is the same...Do you know if you can still get mains plugs to fit those sockets on the amp?
I have all the leads but it's not a common mains voltage connection method. I'll be taking a look at the amplifiers soon. Yeah that woofer with the larger dust cap is odd?
Nice project. Looking forward to your next video.

Are these actually HIFI speakers or Studio Monitors ? As I’ve been told they were used as monitors in the BBC studios . Thanks
@@Rune-music Both. Mainly HiFi speakers though
Could the woofer with the larger magnet be from a BC2?
I think thats probably the case :-)
There should also be a ring of foam around that port which has disintegrated years back I suspect!
No these didn't have a foam ring in the port. The port is only a hole in the baffle. You might be thinking of the SP1?
@@haycrossaudio5474 the BC1’s I had in the late 70’s had a foam ring around the port, checking google pics confirms this on both the BC1 and the BC1a.
