  • Hey guys!
Here is a pre-recorded video on how I safely ship & send postal bakes for them to be received fully intact, NO BREAKAGE!
This gift box is then put in a postal box ready to post, just as it is. I've always sent them like this and not had any issues with regards to them being damaged/broken or even moved out of place, so I hope it helps you too❤
I have always wanted to do a live stream but I'm only a one woman team so it's extremely hard for me to do so as you probably already know. There are so many issues that can arise in a live, lagging, camera's overheating, batteries dying, amongst a whole load of other things and being a one woman team it is very, very hard for me to take care of these issues, all at the same time. Hoping to one day - do one!☺
    Enjoy!😘

You should show a full video on how you prep and ship the cupcakes without them getting damaged. There’s no way that they can be shipped like that without the icing melting and then they get damaged. This may work for delivery, but not shipping. They have to be frozen or something. And then what do you put in the actual mailing box to keep them cool? I’ve shipped frosted pupcakes before and even though I froze them before shipping, the frosting still got messy. I’d like to see a step by step video showing me how to prevent that.

There are various reasons if the shipment did not go so well. Weather is one of them, how you package then how you pack etc.
What courier service did you use? I will try my best to film a proper video next time I post bakes.😊

It would be cool if you would package that up as if you were going to ship it and then toss it upside down a few times and knock it around some and then unbox it so we can see how the items appear. 😊

      Hi Jessica,
No I don't freeze the cupcakes. The individual containers help everything keep intact therefore they don't get spoilt at all. The links to purchase the containers are in the description box. ☺

At Georgetown Cupcake, they insert a lollipop stick into the center of the cupcake so that, if the box is turned upside down, the cupcake doesnt just fall into the lid. They are also shipped frozen, though.

I have not only shipped, these but also my sugar work, internationally. Yes on some occasions, damages do occur which is perfectly normal, especially with the sugar work however these were received with perfection. Absolutely no harm what so ever.😊
When I ship something like this again, which isn't that often, I will be sure to do a before/after video so it helps.

@@GourmetGateaux I'm glad your boxes ship successfully. Our buttercream designs are delicate and if we ship fresh (overnight), frozen and with ice packs, it's still too risky, especially in summer month and warm state.

@@harshitasharma4818 depending where you’re shipping to after your cookies are baked and iced with royal icing, they can be frozen. Once your iced cookies have completely dried, place them in an airtight container, like a plastic freezer bag or Tupperware, with sheets of waxed paper in between any layers, and pop them in your freezer.
